She should replace the whole song with Tea and Brooklyn Nights.

And don’t you :what: me.

I honestly wish people could separate the things a person do from who a person is.

Kelly is a trainwreck of a douche, but DWYW is perfect as it is. And a work of art is a completed thing. You don't go in with extra brush strokes after completion in an attempt to change history.

If she should ever do it, she should it replace with another song, maybe, Brooklyn Nights :lana:

So let's take Whitney out of her grave and force her to apologized for working with him too:awkney:

She doesn't need to apologized for working with him at all, she's not responsible for his actions, what you can do is just to ignore this song, like I do, but she doesn't need to be in between a problem that is not hers.

To remove him from this song would look suspicious and not good for her career.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

If she does, I hope it comes with a statement on it.

It won't happen. The song will be the same. But what probably will happen is that she is gonna ignore the song for the rest of her career. For example: It's a good possibility that there's gonna be a greatest hits album at some point and that DWUW will not be on it. And she's probably never gonna do it live again

i think the best move, without saying anything should gaga remove r kelly from further cd/vinyl and also online and in streaming.

she could replace it with the solo version or xtina.

that would be really clear a reaction of taking distance withouth unnessecary statements.

what u think?

I need a posthumous feature of MJ on DWUW  , not specifically this part of the You Rock My World acapella they put in the song, but if they put another vocal from an unreleased song...I'd be shook

Fans are the ones who have the greatest power in ruining an artist's career. Look at Beyonce , she's a shallow person with no personality who avoid interviews and Jay Z has her strings in his hands yet a lot of people hate her cause of her ghetto fans. It's better not to mention the DWUW fiasco 24/7 cause Gaga already has a lot of people ready for anything to take her down. Also she ain't apologizing for **** , she did nothing and that douche man ain't got nothing on her to apologize for his actions to some people using his muddy name to make some money.

This version is perfect

A career is never perfect and every artist has its own mistakes. Gaga's was to work with him. Though I don't see why replacing that version of DWUW. It's perfect as it is in terms of music quality. No matter how horrible the guy is, the song is amazing.

Anyway, I'm sure she'll never sing it again live in the future. A mess as that song is fire :firega:

Gracious Gaga

The r Kelly version is the best version of DWYW.  It would be fine w any male artist, really.  However r Kelly sounds great on it.  Music not the flings w children

No, that would cause an even bigger outrage, and everyone would be saying shes trying to erase the past.

Gaga is a puppet on WB's strings right now and for good reason. She is the face of the campaign and their film so they are keeping this as quiet as possible, so even if Gaga wanted to comment (which, tbh, I sadly dont think she would ever around any award season. Not because shes a bad person or not sorry, but no one wants bad publicity around this time of year) she couldn't.

You think its luck that there hasn't been a million think pieces, or articles reminding everyone of Gagas history with R Kelly? No, its WB paying anyone they can off. A news outlet would take any opportunity they could to post about an Oscar front runner, who's also one of the biggest stars in the world, and all the mistakes they made. I think the soonest we would get a comment wouldn't be until after the Oscar's unless they're planning a huge PR stunt for GGs or Oscar's (which would not be great).
