Adele has given her strongest indication she will not tour again

I get it. She never liked touring. Even on her very first tour that when she went to a lot of US cities, she stated that it gave her severe anxiety. You can love to sing, and hate touring. This past tour was insane. She was doing 8 nights in a row in cities like NEw York and London. Huge tour. 

HOWEVER 

Shortly after her last tour ended, she signed a new record deal over 140 million dollars. The most expensive record deal of all time. You think this is the end of her performing? Um, no. not a chance.

There are a lot musicians out there who only made music and never touring even once.

Most famous example is Enya. And she is well off just by releasing music. She actually outsold Aretha Franklin too! Plus, She got her own castle in Dublin, Ireland from it. And she is not even pop artist. 

By that I really mean a literal castle with a view!

 

 

 

So, I am sure Adele, whose income are far above and beyond than Enya, will be fine. Honestly.

Her voice has been in a delicate position for a while, so it's unsurprising she'd want to do an extensive tour. I actually do think Vegas would be a great opportunity for her, especially since it provides stability and less travel (therefore less physical strain and she can be prepared), plus she lives in Malibu if I'm not mistaken, so she could have a great gig & creative outlet while raising children.

Yeah but is all the work involved in putting a show together really worth it for "just a couple dates here and there?" I don't know much about this, but I imagine like there are economies of scale associated with larger tours that you're losing if you just do a few cities. Not just in terms of money but also all the designing, building (do Adele's tours have set pieces?), rehearsing and running the show, etc.

doubtful, stars often make these bombastic decisions and then change their mind in a few years... it probably means she'll skip touring with one album
