The Monster Ball (both versions but personally prefer the first incarnation), The Born This Way Ball, and The Joanne World Tour were all incredibly impressive pop spectacles. I think TJWT is actually underrated, it was her most visually/aesthetically stunning show since The Monster Ball. And yes, TBTWB had the castle and the set was detailed and everything but tbh the flow of the joanne tour was better imo. mostly because it didnt involve that huge clunky castle, which i love! dont get me wrong just sayin.

the monster ball 1.0 is one of her most cohesive and conceptual shows.. underrated tbh

And artistically a triumph. Visually perfect. The sets and costuming were cool and honestly would hold up even today. If she came out with that tour now, it would still be dope. To me, the first version was always cooler looking than the second one. Its actually like more artful to me and way less corny. the ONLY thing the first version was weak in were her vocals, which massively improved over time. but whatever. and these looks are still some of her aesthetically hottest imo, it was her peak madonna/marilyn manson/depeche mode influenced era and I still live for it. dark, slutty, sexy, pale:

The monster ball 2.0 it was my first gaga concert and has yet to be matched in terms of energy, audience engagement, set list, costumes and the heaven sent band.
