It doesnt seem credible. The show was announced some months ago. I always believed that everything can sell in Las Vegas on the day of the show, but it seems that the articles about the show flopping were true.

Ticket sales were at about 60%. Definitely not low enough to cancel the whole thing just a month before. They've already spent time and money on dancers, choreographers and a set. Also, have any of you ACTUALLY been to Vegas? On here and ATRL I see people trying to discredit the whole "tourists buy tickets the day of" argument but that is 100% true for Vegas. I'm a massive Britney fan and didn't even buy my tickets until the day of the show. Vegas very much relies on selling tickets to last minute shows to the tourists walking around. There are ticket booths EVERYWHERE up and down the strip because of this.

Yes the timeline for her is a bit off, but maybe she thought she could do it and then as the show got closer and closer the reality set in and she felt she couldn't be away from the family.
