There shouldn't be any special privilege given to any one voter group, everyone's vote should just count the same. And the doesn't happen in the current way.

Rural votes count more than votes in major cities and urban areas and that's wrong when MOST Americans live in these areas and eventually almost all Americans will.

Clearly only your opinion matters to you.

 

I have gave examples as to how pure majority can be exploited which is why the electoral college was implemented. 

It may seem wrong and it does water down the vote in large cities.

Neither system is foolproof.

I get the vibe you would support the electoral system  if it favored your position or candidate however.
