Dreary 52
Here's the thing people. There really isn't anything Gaga can do. If she speaks about it, people will bash her regardless. We live in a time where people are canceling others for the their past mistakes. So I prefer if she just let it go.

Idk why that’s not good enough for you. You know how many celebs type out “sorry” and don’t mean it? The fact she co-wrote, sang the song so may times on TV and stood for ALL survivors in speeches and interviews and everything is the best thing anything can do regarding this, especially after working with him. That’s her response to R Kelly."

Where is the inference? If she needs to force feed you the fact that she specifically doesn’t like R Kelly that’s a you problem bc her stance is clear as **** to me. Real ass charity work. If you don’t appreciate that then I have no words for your messy standards. It's not good enough because it comes across as transparent. She was defending Kesha against dr.luke even though the court said he was innocent, why is it so hard to apologize for helping revive a pedophiles career? She had no issue calling out Dr.Luke but is silent on a man she gave a platform to. 5 minutes ago, Wigless said: And yeah I know what white feminism is, but then what about black feminism that doesn’t speak on queer black women, and those queer black women that stay silent to those in developing countries? Sis do you see how much we can cut the cake in half? Intersectionality is dumb, and I hope my counterpoints are the first steps to help you think of that concept. you're absolutely right about the black community and it's issues with LGBT people but that isn't the issue here. I'd be more than happy to have that conversation with you should that day come. 6 minutes ago, Wigless said: Or maybe celebrities aren’t speaking on every single instance bc they actually have busy lives? to busy to explain why you worked with a pedophile? hmm. These celebs should clear up their schedule then cause I need answers.

When Gaga hears about black and women’s issues, she makes a song. When Gaga hears about LGBT issues, she makes an album. When Gaga hears about sexual assaults survivors, she goes on a campaign. When Gaga hears about bullying, she makes a foundation. She’s a bitch that cares. I can’t fathom how these people just want her speak on it. Either you don’t know Gaga or your brain lacks inferencing (scary.) So I’ll clapback.
Dreary 52
She did not revived R Kelly's career. At the end of the day, the AA community is his biggest fanbase. In fact, you go on twitter and you only see black folks joking about how they like that one song from him. This is not Lady Gaga's fault. The adults around Aailyah failed her. Simple. Reviving his career as in it was dying but she came in (one of the biggest pop stars) and put him on a super anticipated album. that gave that man relevance along with their performances. I want her to be held responsible for that. Not the other **** R.Kelly's done. It's the same thing this site loves to drag Nicki Minaj for. Hold these artist responsible for their actions. And only bring it up (maybe) if one day she's asked what she thinks is the biggest mistake she's ever made. It’s a little too late to talk about it tbh. The time to incorporate her mistakes into her talks about sexual assault was a couple years ago with TIHTY. That’s when presumably she was doing the most searching within herself to come to terms with what happened to her. But while working on that song she completely missed the fact that everything she was feeling the girls that R. Kelly took advantage of were also feeling. I don’t think she’s ever made that connection herself. She became a part of the system that allows men to abuse women by helping revive that man’s career. Which would have only given him more influence and power to prey on young women.

The time for her to apologize is a little too late. Now, if she were to collab again with another abuser, then she'll be truly over and there won't be nothing we can do about that. When enough people are asking you to speak up and you remain quiet, it looks shady. 2 minutes ago, Dreary said: Apologize? For what? Idk, for working with a pedophile on a sexually driven song amongst controversies involving the featured artist. Accompanied by two sexual performances. 3 minutes ago, Dreary said: So people can bash her even more and say she's canceled? If they decide to cancel her after she clears up this whole thing then that's their problem. She'd be able to move on from it once and for all. The way you interpreted that is a you problem, first of all, not a her problem, so just admit that and we’re done here. Idk why it’s not obvious to you that people fight harder for what or who they care for, since I don’t see you or most black related social justice fighters advocating for poor whites in the slums. The hypocrisy. The only issue here is intersectionality ruining group related issues. Mrs. Clinton didn’t lie about stronger together. Delete the term white and black feminism, or be laughed out the room, bc pure feminism/BLM/gender issues are already heavily criticized enough- and with nearnone of that criticism being listened to, ala: “Shut up bigot! You know nothing.” She could give you an answer (already did, called him the King or RnB, obv stan), but you’d just call it an excuse. Again, leaving you dissatisfied. So since you’ll never be satisfied, how about... playing a video game or something? The new Smash is a stellar party game.

Unlike Lady Gaga, I'm not constantly getting tagged or asked about an issue. You don't even see me talking about poor black people in the slums so your point?? 2 minutes ago, Wigless said: She could give you an answer (already did, called him the King or RnB, obv stan), but you’d just call it an excuse. Maybe we could be gaming buddies since we both seem to have nothing better to do. Let me know!
