All the people around him knew this was going on and never said anything. They're guilty too. I really found respect for Andrea. It takes a lot to get out of an abusive relationship, and I can't imagine getting out of one with a 'powerful' man. The juror made me even more sick. He's part of the entire problem of rape culture. I'm interested to see the episode tonight on black girls. I guess I've been naive to the whole situation being different for black girls. It's all sick. When that juror said that, my heart sunk. This is why people are afraid to come forward when they're sexually abused. This man flat out admitting that he made his decision purely on personal opinion and not the clear as day evidence. Rape victims have it hard enough when they're not believed due to evidence not being clear, I can't even imagine what it must be like to have proof be clear as day and someone to still say it isn't enough because they don't like you personally. One of the producers said on twitter that tonight's episode is in her opinion, the most important one. I do hope that the long term effect of these victims coming forward inspires others to do so. Those in the music industry should stop protecting these monsters. I hope to god the #metoo movement picks up more in the music industry. These monsters in power aren't going to keep getting away with this for long.
SharkmanthaC 114,674
I'm wondering if they'll bring up Gaga's song since they've mentioned other sexual songs he's done. Maybe not since she didn't want to appear. she/her/hers

Borislshere 53,080
As both the rapper and the R&B singer are musical icons in their native Chicago, their paths have crossed on numerous occasions: During Chance the Rapper’s Lollapalooza set in 2014, held in the Windy City, he brought out Kelly as a surprise guest. “Make some noise for the Pied Piper of R&B,” he told the crowd. The following year, Chance the Rapper made a cameo in Kelly’s “Backyard Party” video and collaborated with the singer on “Somewhere in Paradise.” However, in an interview that features in Surviving R. Kelly, Chance said that in hindsight he regretted working with Kelly. “Making a song with R. Kelly was a mistake. I didn’t value the accusers’ stories because they were black women,” Chance the Rapper told Cassius‘ Jamilah Lemieux. “I made a mistake.” https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/chance-the-rapper-r-kelly-mistake-775431/ Utterly disgusted at his reasoning for choosing to work with this man. Does he just keep women locked away in a hotel in Beverly Hills while he's out touring? This is strange to me.
