Gaga's repeated interactions and silence on rkellys past (her complete lack of accountability in general) is problematic asl given her public stances on sexual assault and such. You know we can be gaga fans and check her too Because we’ve been dragging her for that collab for many years now. This forum is the most critical. It’s hypocritical to call her a hypocrite, while making one line excuses for others, your own faves, be just as outraged about everyone and no one would say anything. Dig everyone’s old tweets. Be fair. 5 minutes ago, Borislshere said: Did that stop her from tweeting, or saying literally anything about it over the past few years? no. I'm afraid monsters can have their Stan glasses glued on and when people bring up valid points, they take it as personal attacks. So a tweet would help how? What do you want her to say? She would just bring attention to herself, she would still be dragged by stan Twitter. The same people who are obsessively tweeting about her now. You keep asking me what I want her to say like I was there in the studio with her and R.Kelly. Back tf up for a second. All she has to do is tell her truth. If people want to make an ass out of themselves after she does that, then oh well. They'll look foolish but they can't say she didn't speak up. It's one of the reasons why I'm starting to look at her differently(that plus the hoards of fans acting like she did no wrong). No one's saying Gaga didn't do anything wrong - people have agreed and have accepted that what she did was wrong. But continuously and painstakingly pointing it out is tiresome and honestly funny Like, we get it - she did something wrong. What should we do? Unstan her? Hold her responsible? Crucify her? How? And why? We don't know what else transpired? Then you go and rant about white feminism, not caring about black lives because of our "faves", having "stan glasses glued to our eyes". I honestly don't get it. And on her working with R.Kelly - there is a plethora of backstage deal and talks that we don't and we'll never know. ARTPOP was one of Gaga's hardest eras - there are many things that hurt her in her personal and professional life - and that was when she made this decision. Do you really think it's that easy to talk about it? People would just demand answers and she'd just give them when I doubt she has recoveres from that time. Was it just lapse of judgement? Yes! Should she explain herself? Definitely! But should we give Gaga the liberty of when she wants to talk about a bad decision in a bad time in her life? Yes! The issue arises when you collab with a sexual predator then go a few tracks down and write an anthem about sexual predators being pigs. If she truly wasn't feeling the R. Kelly collab then I'm sure she would've handled the performances and MV differently. Being on drugs does not make you inexcusable for your actions. People are holding her accountable for it and they have every right to. It's like Bey talking about women rights but using a slave shop in a foreign country. A bit hypocritical and makes you go hmm. She said one of the reasons she wanted him on the song was his relationship with the media. The issue the media had with R.kelly was the sexual assault cases. She said they wrote lies about him so she knew. She just didn't believe it. IMO that's the part that made it sickening and kind of a slap in the face to the actual victims of his abuse. Going on to perform that sexual performance on SNL and then mocking the White House sex scandal at the AMAS. Which sucks because the song had such great potential without him and could've really been powerful but to add a known sexual predator to it ruined it. My long ass post (which I did in mobile, MIND YOU) and nothing came across OH MY GOD 1. By "Hold her responsible" I mean call the police on her, make the FBI investigate her not just "calling her out". Because you have been doing that for hours now 2. "We have every right to call out gaga" WE HAVE, AND YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THAT FOR HOURS, MULTIPLE POSTS NOW Even pulling up a tweet literally out of nowhere Like what is UP. WE GET IT AND WE AGREE. WE REALLY DO That literally was the summary of my post above but it really didn't get to you? Literally how? 3. "Like I explained in the other post. Literally none of what I have said even implied that there is an excuse for Gaga's decision nor is connected to this reply I was talking about why she hasn't talked about it AND PEOPLE ARE HOLDING HER ACCOUNTABLE I mean you should know. You've been doing that for HOURS now Also, somehow Gaga's a hypocite now bc three years after DWUW she released a song about sexual assault as if people don't realize their mistakes People are not linear, simple and constant Literally, next time, if you don't want to read replies to you, just don't respond. It's like... Talking to a wall. it's so hard to type on a phone I just repeated myself with this post. Just... Go back posting Gaga tweets where she mentioned R.Kelly and say how she needs to be held accountable 1000 more times and how her stans are "blind"

The main issue I've seen people have with her is that she's coming off as transparent. 6 minutes ago, jinko said: Literally, next time, if you don't want to read replies to you, just don't respond.
