Madonna as a Performer Deserves CREDIT

No one disputes her legacy or talent as a performer/provocateur.

But in 2019 she is irrelevant, and has been since 2009.

This is not only due to her to music output not breaking through the noise, but also because her kind of attitude is no longer acceptable in 2019. Being a rude, bitchy diva does not work in the social media world. Gaga and Ellen are huge because they are pioneers of the "kindness" movement. And Madonna is anything but kind, so she has no place in our culture right now.

It only takes another album cycle + tour for her to be on top again  S&S tour (2008-2009) and MDNA tour (2012) were some of the biggest female tours in history. She may not sell just as much records like she used to but she’s still strong and respected

Madonna is ****ing smart and she is by far not as unpolite as people say. She can see through things, has a huge heart and: saying what she wants to say without beeing fake and calculating only speaks for her

I will always respect her as a performer and an artist I honestly think she’s phenomenal anyone who denies that is delulu sorry. :lana: I love her I really do...but her attitude sometimes girll....:awkney: I mean I love her forwardness and what not but sometimes she can really just come off as a rude person and that can be off putting to some people

She's got a bad attitude, yes. BUT, how many amazing performances gave us this bitch.

Can't wait the new album.  And I hope, her new PR team is good, ( not her  yesmen "Yaas Gaga friends" )

i mean, every time the cycle repeats itself there's a new wave of female artists crediting her or paying homage to her "homages". she has a large younger following too. i think you're off by a longshot.

Queen Bitch

I think she get's all the credit she deserves both as an artist and as a performer. No one is denying that she is one of the best performers of all time. You could count on one hand who's better than her.

You know, it's funny. "kindness movement" is so fake. Madonnas got a big heart and she's outspoken. Gaga too, but sometimes her "kindness" is ... no omgNO

As far as I'm concern nobody deny her as a performer. So it is funny to me that this subject need to be brought up.

Unlike the people in MadonnaNation, I am pretty sure GGD members are well aware about her ability as a performer. All the comments were always about her stink attitude, which she brought it to herself in the first place, and overshadows her artistry in the long run.

You know, it is like dropping a drop of tint into a glass of milk, it may seem like nothing but it actually spoils the whole thing.

They are the biggest female tours, not some of the biggest female tours.

I just hope she will tour again

Most young stars are just boring and they dont know how to do a great show

I could just watch her work all day

hard disagree. she is at odds with youth culture. for example: her tributes to prince and aretha were seen as narcissistic and borderline racist. Her red carpet looks are seen as disrespectful. She used Nelson Mandela to promote her last album. She is tone-deaf and not in tune with our current culture.
