I’m still disappointed in Gaga for being influenced by DJWS to have this man collaborate with her. it was more than likely his idea tbh.

I think its the other way around. No one would care about things like this, if he wasnt a star.

Btw, people clearly dont know what age of consent is. I think even in US, in some states the age of consent is 15.

That still doesn't make it okay. She’s still super young and not completely developed mentally. R. Kelly is some sick f*ck who took advantage of a child.

So R. Kelly has: married an underage Aaliyah, peed on an underage girl on VIDEO and ran an alleged sex slave cult.

From here on out, Gaga better seriously think about who she collaborates with, especially considering the message of "Do What U Want." There's something really perverse about Lady Gaga, champion of kindness and equality, endorsing this man on a song with that kind of message, and don't even get me started on what the MV was about to portray. :triggered:

Didnt MJ get caught up in similar scandals?

No. Very different to Michael's 'scandals'. Michael was accused by the parents of children who he allegedly abused; there was always a payment sought as a resolve to the accusations. I don't know what to believe, but he was never found guilty.

What has to happen for this man to suffer the consequences of his actions? :saladga:

The children were manipulated by their parents to make false accusations because they wanted money. The media made things worse and his name was dragged through the mud. People still believe the lies even though he was found not guilty.

How many times will he be "exposed" and people will STILL support him and excuse his behavior?

God, was it 14? I don't remember exactly, but yeah something like that. And it's true that most rock stars in the 70's did it, but I dunno... does that make it ok? No.

I see people sayong most rock stars did it but the question is whyyyy. Who the **** wants to have sex with a person when they are 14.... first of all that is so fuxked up but like secondly usually their features aren’t fully developed why would a man or woman like that ...

Just so gross.

He should be in jail or something

I think sometimes people used to lie about their age so in some cases they wouldn't have known

but yeah, ew

When I was 15, my first boyfriend was 24. You never really know what went on behind closed doors or what Aaliyah's side of the story is. I'm not defending his actions (pee?) And I'm not sure if she ever went on the record about what happened. I'm just saying if you grow up fast when you're young, you can really act more mature and think what you're doing is the right thing.

So why is he not in prison? Am I missing something?

Depends in which state they were. Maybe in the future some laws will change. The times are changing. A century ago, people got married at 15, now we call them children. :ladyhaha:

In the past the life expectancy was lower so a young girl had to make the most of her fertility from a young age. Thank god times have changed.

Ok so Gaga’s DWUW performance at SNL would be basically career suicide if it had happened today. I truly hope she has her regrets on it and has learned from that mess.
