Illuminati Freak 2,432 Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 I think X-tina and Nelly Furtado's career's greatly suffered because both took way too long of a hiatus off from the scene (like 4-5 years) to have a baby etc. That's a very long time in the music business and a lot changes and a whole new generation of kids came out of nowhere and now they don't care who X-tina & Nelly are. Thus album and singles sales and chart positions suffer. It's too bad because I thought Bionic was great and so is Nelly's TSI. Great songs on both albums but the promotion for both is atrocious and the same for this upcoming X-Tina record. New interest needs to be sparked somehow. And then of course the record buying public is also very fickle these days so it's like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. I want X-tina to have a great comeback!
