There's also this part when Enigma start crying and Gaga says that may be because Enigma ate her soul so she became more human, because enigmas don't have feelings, and then Gaga says she's going to perform another song for her and Enigma gets excited:sis:

Of course it did. That show was about all of us, and about the mistake of regarding Gaga as a superstar, a larger than life persona. In truth, it's what we all are, and we've already created our own "Monster Ball" just by gathering together in a spirit of freedom and love. That was reflected in nearly all of the interludes, and it's the core message behind the concert plot

What's with this endless crapping on Gaga's early work, it's really annoying. Just because you weren't so analytical back then because perhaps you were younger (not necessarily talking about you, just noticing a general trend) doesn't mean Gaga didn't know what she was doing back then :awkney: Most of her post-2010 career was simply a reinvention of stories and messages she had already told. This Enigma show is basically the 100th adaptation of her core ideas from the beginning. But they were always already present and always consistently and elaborately planned out imo, with every detail to match, probably even more in the beginning than in recent years.

Girl TFM and earlier probably always will be my favorite so that isn't the case here :air: I think you misunderstood me

Then I very much apologize :laughga: Sorry sis, I’m too used to seeing fans putting her early stuff down for no reason  Still think the MB 2.0 had a fully developed storyline though :v:

Unfortunately, I really think Gaga is surrounded by a team of friends... not a team of professionals. Sure, their work with Gaga has obviously elevated them to professional level (more resources, money, training, expertise ect) - but Gaga needs to work with unrelated, unassociated, native professionals with whom she could form a more objective, working relationship with. Just like she did at the beginning of her career.

Beyond the plot, there were so many issues with the show that just should not have been there. The wigs, the costumes, the choreography... this woman is worth over three-hundred-million-dollars. She is worth more than what her team are kidding her, and themselves, into thinking is 'the' standard. Gaga's music, her writing, her singing, her charisma and her overall performance abilities are not being served by her current team.

It's clear that Gaga has all the creativity within her. She just needs help in executing it - as does anyone. Gaga has to be less stubborn and realise that she can still be in control whilst collaborating with other specialists. I feel like she probably wants to to be the only 'specialist' - the only person who knows how to 'do' a Gaga show. Which, whilst true in many ways, does not mean that other people should not be able to have an honest input.

This is a recurring and valid comment here on GGD, and while I totally agree, I also know that the reason Gaga does so is because it's surrounding herself with these people, her best friends, that she feels most comfortable to even work in the first place. With the people who have turned their back on her in the past, I think she's scared or uncomfortable to venture out with completely new people, so these are the people in her Haus 'bubble' she wants to have around her, despite being able to hire external 'professionals', because she wants the safety and comfort of being around the people she loves. Oh well.

be kind guys

I'm sorry guys, but these threads really show how Gaga's concepts and executions have evolved.

We used to look at everything and, even if we didn't agree with each other, everyone could interpret it somehow. It didn't even matter how "weird" it was, as strange as it could be the message was always clear and everyone could take a different point of view from it. It was beautiful. Now, everything's so rehashed, or simply so forced, even Gaga loses herself in the concept.

Also: the whole "she just works with friends" excuse is no excuse at all. Are you really insinuating you need to work with high-key professional artists to be creative? Really, is that what you want to imply? First, you're forgetting the hundreds of incredible songs and albums that come out every month by smaller artists and are so, so bigger creatively. Also, you're forgetting Gaga's earlier performances, which were far smaller, simpler, and yet incredibly powerful. Guys, she didn't even need a stage, she could give you a whole show full of interpretations by simply moving in a certain way. During the MonsterBall, Gaga was certainly in a more stressful place than she is now, budget was certainly smaller, in fact the technology is quite similar to what she delivered in the Enigma stage (even the mosnter fish was moved by dancers) and yet it was far, far more creative.

I don't know, I'm just so tired of these excuses. How come I see smaller artists being more creative than Gaga? For how long will we blame the team for Gaga's lack of creative ideas? It's so unfair.

I mean, if Gaga's so creative, and if her team agrees with everything she says, like everyone here is always implying, it would be even easier for her to approve her projects and inject money in whatever they want to do...

It's also a plot, and a best off show fitted for Vegas, but she manages to give clues about where she is now, what's in her head. Gaga has always been into something burlesque, the deus ex machina, when you can see the human behind the machine. So I think it's time to pull the warning of too much expectation. It's the magic of a pop show to mix both, this is nothing that experimental to me and at the same time it's full of ideas and clues #singingTHATbowiesong

hello hello baby.
