lg8 (lg6) needs to be a suprise release like lemonade and beyoncé's self tittled album. :hor:

overhyping the album will lead to a witness/ARTPOP sized mess tbh :smh: as it is gaga worked super hard to fix her image up within these last four years :deadbanana:

It will flop so hard and fall flat... Gaga should focus on releasing as many singles as possible (the way new crop of artists are releasing nowadays) so that by the time album is released it automatically goes platinum from streams of the singles released

Gaga is in a very good phase of her career to release a new pop album tbh

Just look at how ASIB and Enigma are praised by the press and the GP

for that to happen she needs instant smashes like drake and cardi b, and it's highly unlikely for gaga to score #1 singles like them :saladga:  she doesn't even have taylor swift or ariana grande's streaming power so pure sales and vegas tour bundles are our only hope. :air:

They shouldn’t try to “break” anything. That’s when it gets messy and flops. You don’t go chasing a phenomena your career, because that’s what MJ did after Thriller and it was tragic.

I don't think Bad, Dangerous, HIStory, or Invincible were tragic at all. Hits after Thriller include:

- Bad

- The Way You Make Me Feel

- Man in the Mirror

- I Just Can't Stop Loving You

- Dirty Diana

- Smooth Criminal

- Remember the Time

- Heal the World

- Black or White

- Will You Be There

- Dangerous

- Scream

- They Don't Really Care About Us

- Stranger in Moscow

- Earth Song

- You Are Not Alone

- You Rock My World

Bad "is one of the best-selling albums, with an estimated 35 million copies sold worldwide".

Dangerous "is one of the best-selling albums of all time, and has sold 32 million copies worldwide, including 8 million in the United States alone"

HIStory "As of 2010, HIStory has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and is the best selling multiple-disc release, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time."

Invincible "was the 11th best-selling album of 2001, shipping 5.4 million copies worldwide"

Although the albums after Thriller did not reach the same success as Thriller, they were still massively successful, spawning millions of sales, another two best-selling tours of all time, and plenty of number one singles that still have an impact today. This is far from tragic.

well then the only option is to release album in Q4 2019 but it would most likely be packed with adele/taylor/rihanna and god knows who else... Other timing would be immediately post the Oscar season and if she wins oscars well then we have a smash era in hand.

By the time we get LG6 there will be a whole new generation of technology and fans. Social media and memes will be a thing of the past so I suggest you ask your grandchildren what'd be the best thing to do to promote it.

Jk but I feel like forcing something into a meme is such a tacky thing to do. See Witness and the whole bunch of memes she tried to do with Swish Swish music video and her performances. I can tell you that Netflix did not expect Bird Box to achieve this kind of success and the amount of memes it has created. Some memes are born out of nowhere, even from pictures that are very old.

I wasn't disputing the fact albums after weren't successful, but it's pretty widely known he just kept chasing that phenomena his entire career afterwards. A mistake.
