Miracle 14,068
Okay, some of this might be crazy but this is what I came up with: ACT 1: Showgirl. Gaga is in the beginning of a normal Las Vegas Residency opening tour. There's sequins, there's flying...everything you can expect from a showgirl. Also she decides to start in chronological order, as if the show was meant to go like that. But towards the end of LoveGame, her Enigma (her inner mind, her will) calls her to do bigger things with her message to save the future and herself. To be prepared, she's ready to enter a simulation that works as a simulation with several worlds. ACT 2 aka World 1: The Middle East (PLACE). Gaga, now disguised as some kind of videogame character designed by Enigma, wanders blindly through this new word (Dance In The Dark) without being able to use the powers of her fame (Beautiful Dirty Rich, The Fame), struggling to go unnoticed, she gets captured by a paparazzi and is sent to ISIS (which represent the press) (Aura): They try to torture her, but her will is stronger as ever and defeats them, doing a short dance celebration, because the biggest enemy of the future is still standing still. (If you don't want to get political, just call them Enemy 1) ACT 3 aka World 2: Techno Berlin. Gaga's fears start to grow because she has nothing but her friends to defeat the rising wave of neo-fascism that's being settled in Germany. By looking deeper into herself, she finds the inner strenght (the giant robot) to STOMP on the neonazis f(representing her real life enemies) while looking like the most evolved version of herself (I DON'T SPEAK GERMAN BUT I CAN IF YOU LIKE IT). Judas and Government Hooker are again celebratory songs: In Judas she shows her despise for betrayers and in Government Hooker she pokes fun at the previous rulers of the world (Neonazis and ISIS, or Enemy 1 and Enemy 2, however you want to call them). In the end of Government Hooker, she also mentions Donald Trump, who's shown the white flag after seeing the defeat of his biggest allies. The intersection of I'm Afraid of Americans is a sneak peek of the next world, where she faces her biggest challenge yet: dealing with her insecurities and pain ACT 4 aka World 3: Purple Heart and Final Boss: This world is made up of three enemies: The Edge of Glory (fear of death), Million Reasons and You And I (fear of heartbreak). But the final boss is up in the end: Fear of Love. I'll consider Bad Romance to be from this world, even though she gets another outfit. Bad Romance is the biggest moment of vulnerability of the show. The screens show the cavities of a heart, Gaga is wearing a nude/tan outfit and is screaming and dancing in hell. If she goes through Bad Romance, her mission inside the simulation is complete, and so it's her time in Planet Enigma. In this act, she also learns the healing properties of facing pain ACT 5: Earth. After her emotional goodbye with Enigma the hologram, she's told to do one thing with her knowledge from the simulation: to tell people all about it and spread love. She pulls a big celebratory pride party and tells everyone she's the messiah of the gays. Right after, she decides to continue her original concert, finishing the journey with SHALLOW

I don't like how you made "the middle east" a representation of ISIS and neo-nazis or in your words "the enemy", there are enough stereotypes being thrown around already

Middle East refers to a location. And I definitely didn't relate the Middle East to neo-nazis, they're in separate acts

Infinity Wave 7,635
I interpreted it to be a representation of her life instead. Like, at first she's all Fame-Ga. She lives for fame, she wanna conquer it, and that's why she sings her first hits (and, ofc, because the GP payed for them ). But than, her inner self, her mind, her consciousness, whatever, Engima, tells her (so she kinda tells herself, it's like she's speaking to herself) if she continues this way, something bad will happen, and that is shown in the simulation: in the future, she only lives for fame - BDT, TF, Applause, all represents how she just wanna get money, attention, fame overall (Idk how to fit in Telephone, but oh well) - and in fact she soon discovers the drawbacks of fame. She once again has to face the pressure of constantly being on everybody's eyes, and ofc of being exploited for money, and that's when the ARTPOP message comes into full form: in Aura, she is being torured, a metaphor of her previous management milking her to death just for the sake of the money; Aura in fact represent the whole meaning behind the ARTPOP we got, it's there to represent the whole message of the album itself, the message Gaga gave to it after experiencing what she experienced during that hard period of her life. Than, she finally frees herself, singing Scheibe and GH, female empowering songs. And do I have to mention the GIANT FREAKIN ROBOT SHE CAME ON STAGE WITH? Now, she's out of the simulation (or is still in, idk); anyway, she must heal from all the wounds that are still open. And she heals through songs with a deeper meaning and message, a message of love, truth, empowerment and freedom TO HERSELF in the first place. EOG, Alejandro, MR, Y&I, all represent her willing of being free, of being strong, of being happy. Than, she comes back on Earth (the simulation is now obv over). It's time for her to make a statement, now that she found her true self, now that she has full control over her life, her mind, her actions: she sings her biggest hit, Bad Romance (give it the meaning you like) and than, obviously, she sings her magnum opus, BORN THIS WAY. This is the deepest moment of the show. Born This Way represents Gaga fighting for the world to be a happy and a a free place for every single human being. This is her real self, this is her mission on Earth, it's not abaout Fame or Money or anything, she's here to make the world a better place. She needs to tell this to herself. She is at first pretty puzzled, after living through all of this, Enigma understood how Gaga is now a better person, it (?) now sees her as the amazing human being she is. So Gaga sings Born This Way to herself, and to the world, to make the whole world heal togheter. Oh, and Shallow is just her giving the good sis ASIB the recognition it deserves tbh. What I'm hoping, whatever is the real interpretation of the storyline, is that it gets more developed. It just felt like all was disconnected. If she really wanted to gave a meaning to all her hits, without just singing them for the GP and the fans who bought the tix, she should've developed it more, or at least, well, make us clearly understand why each song was there, instead of just going straight from one song to another just to fit them in. Don't get me wrong, I abs love the fact that she tried to give us everything we wanted from a setlist. And I think that, when they said "Never before seen vegas residency", "game changing residency" etc, they were mainly referring to the fact that, as I stated, Gaga developed a storyline. That, for Vegas, is TOTALLY NEW. She didn't just went on a plain stage to sing her hits, she wrote a storyline and gave the show a (pretty weak for us hardcose stans, for us little monsters 4 life, but execptional for the GP) file rouge. At first I thought there was nothing revolutionary, but now I see it. No one has ever done this before. Colourful
