ENIGMA: CONCEPT but nothing new

To be honest, it being a brand new Vegas show, I thought she was going to at least bring a little 'showbizz' to it by yes, adding more of a remixed kind of sound to it, she's done it in the past pretty well, but in this show she literally just performed the songs start to finish, nothing extravagant about them like the visuals may suggest. EDM remixes would have been cool.. I think that's all the show is sort of lacking.

Everything else can be modified each night.. but the structure of the music just needs a slight "LAS VEGAS" style rework.

I totally agree, the concept is the best thing ever but they should have reworked the songs a bit so they could fit the theme and the storyline

I mean she has BloodPop, White Shadow and BoyzNoise, they all can do electronix/techy wonders

and the outfits.. idk I only like the first one and the Scheisse one, and they should do something with the wig, it's good but needs some upgrade

I know it’s been hours and you might have seen it already, but a lot of the choreography has been rearranged. It looks kind of cool, honestly- her energy in the choreography during the opening numbers was the best I’ve seen in a long time.

She had pop gems from ASIB and yet nothing. She didn't even include her latest "hit" The Cure. Apart from two ballads, everything is from 2008-2013

But this is not a tour for a new album. It's her performing the hits of her career. So in a sense, using old concepts to bring alive the past eras is pretty logical.

Ok, but if you compare TMB 1.0 to TMB 2.0 you still have a completely different show And that's the same album being promoted I don't know, to me that's not a good explanation. There are ways to present something different and original with the same music... Madonna's been doing it with her hits for decades

Yes she had pop gems but her own fans dragged those songs to hell unfortunately

Lol this show JUST started last night. Let me remind you all that The Monster Ball, Born This Way Ball, Artrave and maybe de Joanne Tour were a mess the first night and she always changes things. I'm pretty sure Enigma will change with time, it's not going to be like last night for the next 2 years.

I do agree that I don't need to listen to The Fame songs today because I overplayed that album but it's obvious those songs will not be there forever.

ot: i as well agree on that re-inventing/remixing the old songs. i think that's the main problem with this show along with the green neon and purple outfits. but other than that it is great.

I said this in another thread, but I am so glad I bought my ticket for next November. The show is going to be completely different by then, and with the promise of new music coming next year, I think the concept and visuals will really come through into its full fruition. I think the first few shows of any tour she has done have been a little messy. Seems like the excitement among her and her dancers/band/crew overcomes the professionalism we always see. I know it’ll get better and that’s awesome because the show was already pretty great. New music now wasn’t a smart choice because this is a terrible time for sales and promotion. I would hope maybe next month or February for a new track and then all the tracks we feel are old will be replaced with the new music whenever the new album drops.
