And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.

This 2 songs are from 1982 from an Italian singer which was famous in the 80s:

The first song is called “Oblio” or “Oblivion” in English, is a song about what’s is waiting after death when someone commits suicide and about being forgotten;

The second song is called “Giulietta” a song about the end of Juliet from the Shakespeare tragedy, a very emotional ballad.

Both songs are from the 1982 album:”Kamikaze Rock n Roll Suicide”, concept album about Japanes colture related to suicide and honor. Despite the dark main theme, the album was a great success in Italy (where a song in the album “Lamette”, or “Razor Blade” in English, became a hit), France and Japan.

The Fame

Despite its ironic name, 'Happiness' by The Fray is extremely sad.

100 Years by Five for Fighting is also sad, but that's more of a melancholy.

I don’t know that song, but what is it with songs having Happy in the title being extremely sad?!

Also, do you know their song Be Still? I first heard it when I saw them as an opening act and they played it, and I’ve been in love with it ever since.

I don't know that one; thank you for the suggestion, though! I'll have to go check it out
