As a matter of fact, I was at the Monster Ball tour in Orlando back in 2011, and she revealed the Born This Way album cover art at the show before anyone else could see it... and the reaction of the audience was just as you described from the GGD users... everyone literally LAUGHED like it was a joke... and then we were all like... wait... she's not joking... and the image stayed up there on the screens for a hot minute and it got awkward.
