The sad thing is that these big robots are literally the only exciting thing about the show. I expected to see more. It doesn't even come close to BTW, like seriously.

The great thing about any type of live performance is that is grows over time. Of course the first night is going to appear "off", its the first time they are bringing everything together. If you read remarks from any opening night of any show, Vegas or not, you'll find this to be true. Live shows are organic living creatures and what we saw tonight likely will not be the same ENIGMA we see a year from now. They will decipher what works, what doesn't, and what needs just a little TLC. I do hope she is able to extend the show for an additional year, the possibilities are endless in a permanent venue and I think it suites her well. I think this is a fantastic way to celebrate the legacy she has made for herself over the last ten years. ENIGMA won't appeal to all fans, just like her previous endeavors didn't, and that's okay. Not everyone is going to love everything she does. But, to me, ENIGMA is everything I could have wanted and more. 

Thank you!  I would pay to be a part of that crowd if I could! 

Granted I saw it through a potato but the energy and the vibe and the songs is what I live for.

I am in love with the entire show. I’m so grateful that it was live-streamed and I’m gonna get some sleep and watch the HD videos tomorrow, I feel like this feels fresh and interesting. It’s the first night so expect things to change as the residency goes on, the set list will without a doubt alter and her outfits and wigs will change too. So proud of you Gaga

Remember: the first few BTWB dates were... something else. The lighting and usage of props and even choreography spotting were still super fresh and not utilized to its fullest extent, so it just felt like Gaga singing on a giant stage. If there's one thing that made up for any of that, it was her raw charisma.

I think this might be comparable. Like, it wasn't bad by any means- it's just new. With every tour that she's had, it took a few shows to fully flesh out the nooks and crannies and finer details. Even the JWT, which was nearly perfect from the start and is now my gold standard for her tours, was able to flesh out even further over time.
