Chickens in Malibu 7,873
If Lady Marmalade needed a remake, what 4 contemporary female powerhouses would you envision to be fit for this song? It's a mix of Pop/R&B and Rap:

How can Cardi's behaviour destroy someone's legacy (but her own)? Did nicki's horrible behaviour destroyed Lil' Kim's legacy? I'd say it actually made her figure even greater, due to contrast. Cardi B doesn't do black community any well with her racher public stunts. I am really tired of Cardi B being treated like a Jesus when in fact she became huge as a stripper which lead to her appearance in tv show. I mean, how high expectations did anyone had for Cardi before she released Bodak Yellow? And what kind of expectations do people have from Nicki and other good rappers in the game. Lady Marmelade would be too huge to give to someone as Cardi. The hell, even Lady Marmelade herself wouldn't allow ratchet hoe in her brothel.
