Will you approve academicGa?

Of course, we love the popstarGa and I fell in love with her because of her music, art and performances and I will always support her as an artist and performer but also, I sometimes can see(or think she could) her pursuing an academic career? like studying for master's degree or/and doing a PhD.

They are just my random thoughts. We can see many academic theories incorporated in her art, and I do think she is interested in these sort of things too.

What do you think?

Really? I don't know, I don't see it. And I remember an interview she gave years ago, still during The Fame era I think, where she spoke about it. In other words, she said she didn't feel like she needed to pursue a higher academic career because she has been able to study about her art and her field of interest by herself and basically she doesn't need to do a PhD because she practically does what she wants and what she envisions when she wants to.

I’m not sure if this is the interview you’re talking about but she definitely brought up how she wouldn’t go back to school in her David Letterman interview the night BTW dropped. I also don’t see her doing it either, it seems like wasted time considering she can practically do everything she wants without a college/professional education.

I think these are things we projected onto her in her early career. She has not created cerebral, thought-provoking work in years.

I suppose one never knows. Thomas Dolby is a professor at Johns Hopkins now. Brian May has a doctorate in astrophysics. But... I don't see it.

Gaga is too busy in the “school of life”, as they say. She dropped out of NYU because she was infinitelt more ambitious than her teachers telling her “she’ll never make it because of her ethnicity or her nose”. I think she wanted to prove them all wrong, which at such a young age she has already done, and in so many ways. Broadway is probably the next stop for Ms Germanotta. But I do think maybe when she is in her 40s, when she is a mother and with loads of life experience, she might go back to college. Now is definitelty not the right time.
