Gohan 16,408
Why do people think this way? Are people not allowed to dislike someone anymore? I've seen this labelling EVERYWHERE. The Hive treats her like she's an untouchable goddess who can do no wrong Does Beyoncé suffer from racism in 2018? Even when black/mixed race artists have existed in the music industry since forever, a LOT even reaching the legend status and everyone and their mother loves them? Whitney, Aretha, Janet, Michael to name a few. All successful artists. What do you guys think? Is it racism, sexism or just not-their-cup-of-tea? tryna go ask Alice, tryna catch that rabbit

Gohan 16,408
Personally I LOVED her before the self-titled album. Why? Because her music was more versatile, relatable and overall better. There are some exceptions, for example Partition, Haunted, Rocket. But those are so old now making a full album of rap/trap/hip-hop is just not my taste. Even if Gaga did it, I won't like it (Jewels&Drugs I see you) tryna go ask Alice, tryna catch that rabbit

bloody g 31,746
I think Beyoncé fans come from the thought that there is nothing to dislike about her, so it must be racism. Tbh its understandable, there is not reason to hate her at all. You may not enjoy her music but hate her? Nah 『𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝』
Mr S 8,672
There probably are a few white gays who indeed are racist though. But yeah it's a bit ridiculous to call everyone racist for not liking her. I also see the "Beyonce can't read" joke a lot and I really don't know why that is considered racist. Can anyone answer that?
joannesrats 26
I definitely think that race has something to do with it, and sexism, but at the end of the day those are usually secondary factors in a person's bias and decision making. It is not something someone consciously decides, "Oh, Beyonce is black, I don't like her," but being black in this country (US) means that you have to work harder for the same accolades and recognition as your white counterparts. OT: Race might play a factor, but not in the majority of people who say they don't like her. I think she's a terrific performer and dancer, but she is slightly overrated imo.
