I wouldn’t write off a re-peak in pure sales (70k-80k). But then again we’d need tons of streams (the boost will probably last few days or something, I mean we peaked at #10 just for a day so we won’t start slay Spotify all of a sudden) and radio. Another week in Top 10 and an extension for Shallow chart-run before it falls below #50 would be cute and enough, but we can’t expect more. We don't have a full week only around 100-102 hours until the week ends on Friday because the Oscars will take place on a Sunday, so we don't have the full force of digital sales which is where Shallow excels. We already lost Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday at this point so they really need to push Shallow at least for a week already on its two most vulnerable platforms (radio + streaming). I’m so stressed about the Oscars that I even saw it in my dreams last night. Gaga won BOS and after that I switched off the livestream cause I didn’t think it would win anything else only to get a call from my sister telling me Gaga won Best Actress too. As much as I love this era, the stress is too much. I don’t wanna be delulu but my expectations says otherwise. I need to be a little realistic and try to enjoy this moment for Gaga OT: Shallow seems to be stable enough for a good 70-80k spike during Oscars week right? Does it matter?
