You know why? Cuz it‘s easier for white people/the Academy to sing kumbayah about racism and say „let‘s move on“ instead of acknowledging the fact that almost everything in their lives is coated with a thin, transluscent schmear of racism. The most important thing is that things stay the same (or get even better for them). Justice, equality & responsibility second. Wealth, pride, status & ego first.

Seriously, a movie like Green book shouldnt have such problems with the things on screen. Im not discussing beyond the scenes factors. Whats next? We should return to black only or white only movies? Or the white characters should only be supporting? The criticism against Green book reminds me about the criticism that some people tried to push against ASIB. Common sense won in case of ASIB, but homophobia won against Green book. As I said, Im talking only about the things on screen. I actually think it will be despicable for it to win screenplay at this point.

Note 1: When the radios already play your song in loop (#1), don't send another song at radios, because it will not be played.

Note 2: When you have a song in big streaming playlists, and than it slaying well in charts, don't remove it for a new song that is nothing (so far).

Note 3: Found a 3rd note.

Interesting point...

INDIEWIRE: What ‘Green Book’ Winning the PGA Award Means for the Oscars?

"Truth is, 'Green Book' makes many people feel good. And it plays well to the still-most-dominant group in the Academy, white men, who voted for movies like 'In the Heat of the Night' and 'Driving Miss Daisy' and gave 'Crash' Best Picture over 'Brokeback Mountain'. There have been many changes in the Academy membership over the past few years, but women are still 31 percent, people of color are about 1,000 out of 7,900, and black voters number about 350. The Ballroom at the Beverly Hilton, as presenter Regina Hall pointed out, was very white."
