when was there such a slayage? local act or adele?

Shallow has now surpassed Hello by Adele

Hello was #1 on Itunes France during 80 days. Shallow is at almost 90 days and with a 60%++ lead :rip:

I think the only song bigger than Shallow in the history of Itunes France is Happy by Pharrell Williams. The song was #1 during 22 weeks :rip:

Otherwise I don't remember a slayage like that :air:

Is it like a points system? Your fave have 10 points, second one 9 and like that? #Shook

Not exactly that. If a movie doesnt get 50% of the votes, one by one movies with the least votes get eliminated until a movie gets 50%.

Let’s focus on the Oscar for BOS. All The Stars still scares me. It will the GRAMMY for BOS.

no Despacito was huge in France but on Itunes the song wasn't #1 during 90 days with a 60% lead

On the streaming chart, it was another story tho lol

No. Votes for everyone's #1 choice is tabulated. The nominee with the least number of votes is eliminated and the ballots that had it as #1 is redistributed according to the #2 choice. This repeats until the last nominee is left.

A better explanation than mine. :toofunny: However the system has its flaws. If a movie is hated, gets backlash or it becomes the frontrunner to beat, people put it on their last position. Thats how it is believed La La Land lost.

Every voting system has its flaws tbh. Plurality voting doesn't really make sense when there are so many nominees. Exhaustive voting allows voters to play the system as voters can change their vote based on the previous round even when their first choice is still in the game.

This system will be perfect, if people could vote only 2 movies. With a top 10, it is too easy for the haters to impact the winner.
