It’s not this country’s obligation to pay them anything. And if you think $50,000 is not that outrageous, I suggest you pull that money right out of your pocket and give it to them. If Pubs/Libs agreed to fund a larger immigration processing personal administration to accommodate the large number asylum seekers, the problem would certainly be minimized. The fact that the US political system is polarized to the point that nothing gets done is the real issue imo. dit 46,738 Posted December 13, 2018 Share Posted December 13, 2018 I do find it wrong for them to ask for reparation money however they were not even given the right to claim asylum in the US so maybe there is grounds for them to ask for some sort of compensation? isn't it a right for people to ask for asylum and be given a proper trial and chance?
