The people need help...pointing fingers and laying blame is going to do it...

The lack of resources vs. those who need them is the problem now imo.

Don't forget the hurricanes and wild fires are putting a big strain in the US too

Well you kind of spent this time pointing the finger at everyone down south...

America isn’t as strapped for cash as you think. What we have is a skewed prioritization for our money. Look at the border right now. A great example of us using our resources for a big show of power that isn’t needed. Had our budget been more conscious of the American people and the people we affect as a nation then maybe that money could have gone somewhere else where it is needed.

It’s really easy to say this but when you realize that in their eyes it’s stay home and starve or die because of gang violence then it becomes a much more complicated moral issue.

A woke and empathetic chartster? We have decided to stan :applause:

:ohno: theres no excuse for the violence. They are trying to live better lives and provide a better future for the kids. Its not like they are a bunch of criminals.

For the ones saying they should come to South América: some countries here cant really provide a better future like Venezuela. Or its simply hard to reach because of mountains, rivers, rainforests.

I just think that we have always had a process to help refugees and they should follow it. I get very sad to see family torn apart and children hurt, but we gotta have a process to ensure people that do things illegally in THEIR country do not come here.

saw a video of the horde of people rushing the fence. how the **** could a mother want her children to be endangered like that.

asylum was offered in mexico right? they want the economic opportunities offered by a better place like the US. safety was offered in mexico but it seems like they rejected that. kinda makes their claim of being asylum seekers look like BS since they were already offered it in mexico and rejected it.

they should start new lives in mexico or get in line with all the mexicans looking to come to the US the legal way.

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

I mean I feel bad but this is Trump's America they should know better

Trump's America? We do realize border laws have been in place for decades. I literally can't stand Trump, but let's not be ignorant here. It's awful that these parent's are having to risk so much for their children. Stay home and have no future for them, or hope to get in the US where the opportunities are much better. I couldn't imagine having to face a decision like that. They all know the risk though. Countries like America, Canada, European, Asian countries, that have stability for their citizens still have to maintain order, and they all have laws about immigration.

When have we treated then like ****? Weve given them everything they needed, wanted and demanded, theyre getting all the attention even when we have a crisis on the coast with thousands disenfranchised because of a hurricane.

If some people reacted badly on social media is because some of the people on the caravan have behaved like crap towards us.

Don't get me wrong, I'm also Mexican.

However, you need to accept that Mexico is an extremely racist and nationalist country.

Don't generalize all Mexican people, in my city we have SIX shelters ONLY for hondureños, we're giving them plenty of food and clothes. a lot of people want them here and want them to be safe, people(you) only focus on the negative people but there are more people that are accepting the immigrants than racist mean people in Mexico.  I understand your point.

People seem to think that Mexico is the worst and the most racist country :duck: I understand that there's a lot of racist people in Mexico(like in any country...) but we're still trying our best to help the immigrants, I mean Mexico is in crisis and we're still giving them shelters, our food, and clothes, we're giving them free dental help, we have helped the transgender immigrants, etc. A lot of Mexicans want them to stay here.
