Mexico has decided to start processing immigrants that chose to stay behind in Mexico for asylum. However Mexico doesn’t have the capability of solving this issue. A huge part of that is the corrupt government. The very thing immigrants from Mexico are trying to escape. Instead of looking at this situation as an immigration crisis look at it as the culmination of America’s and even Canada’s decisions to let LA nations get to this point without doing enough to help the situation. Even in the last few years things have deteriorated rapidly in many of the countries. The Nationalist views you have make sense if you look at things as if they were black and white, but they’re not. The people need help...pointing fingers and laying blame is going to do it... The lack of resources vs. those who need them is the problem now imo.
