Gaga's potential friendship with MJ

Ever since Michael's death it has been confirmed by Michael's choreographer Travis Payne that Gaga was one of the artists personally selected by Michael to duet with on his "This Is It" comeback residency in London.

Most likely on the track "I Just Can't Stop Loving You". Imagine. :nooo:

Anyway, as we know, Gaga has formed strong friendships with multiple industry legends like Elton John, Tony Bennet, Sting, etc. I personally believe that if Michael had lived to perform these shows, a potential bond could have formed between them as they share a lot of traits artistically and personality wise. Both being extremely humble and kind with warm personalities. They also share a love for theater and classical music.

I think about this a lot and get bummed out at the friendship that could have been. I truly feel like Gaga could have helped Michael from being so isolated and insular. I feel like Gaga really "got" him on a fundamental level. This goes the same in the other direction. A true symbiotic friendship.

Thoughts?

I believe they would have been good friends, both being philantrophists and caring characters and very talented I could see why they would get along.

Also MJ seemed to be obsessed with Gaga's artistry in the last months of his life, according to his choreographer Travis Payne he would bop to The Fame  He recognised that Gaga would go BIG.

It's possible that they could have met, since RedOne was also working with MJ at the time that RedOne was working with Gaga on TFM

Personally, I think MJ would have some "it's complicated" relationship with Gaga, he would admire her work but also criticize her a lot, not to be bad to her, but to help her improve.. something like Elton, a tough father figure.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

The fact that he recognized her...and she hadn't even peaked at the point.  Michael was an enigma himself, and I believe he respected the fact that she was self aware at such a young age.  I absolutely could see them collaborating together, as well as being close friends (i.e. Like with Tony Bennett)

I think about this a lot

He is basically like a male version of Gaga

He's the original supreme lol. He and Gaga would've ruled the ****ing world together and now I'm sad and angry it didn't happen. Can I like kill myself and live in the timeline where it did happen???

He’s given interviews here and there where he’s said she should, essentially, make music more up to par with her skill set (i.e. not modern dance pop). And Gaga has said several times, though I remember it being on Howard Stern, that Elton will scold her about this or that. It all comes out of a place of great affection, though, that much is clear.

It seems that they recorded a song together and it was supposed to be performed at This Is It tour, produced by RedOne, )he was producing for him at the time and they were close, MJ would tell him Gaga was the ****). The song is rumored to be called °Pictures°

And you all want to steal the laptop with ARTPOP Act II... lol

MJ said PF was a masterpiece and he was right.

If I recall correctly, that was just a rumor. As far as I know, they never actually even met.
