The best thing is watching the SB performance after the documentary. I believe those reviews were made by haters. So thank you, next.

Go to yahoo news and pick any news articles and read the comments. It's a terrible showing of how people are these days.

I don't think ANYONE takes other people's reviews at heart unless its for a product they can utilize for themselves.

Everything has tons of negativity to it these days. It didnt use to be like this and its wild seeing how it's become.

This. It’s disgusting how many people will attack celebrities in news articles. All a bunch of old people with nothing better to do. :laughga:

WORLDofGAGA

Being honest 5ft 2 didn’t  impress me 100%, something felt missing, i felt at times I didn’t see the Gaga I know, yes I know it’s meant to show things about Gaga we haven’t seen but something felt different. I think I may need to watch it again. Don’t get me wrong I did enjoy it.

I mean it's obvious that some people will come to give it negative reviews, people that usually don't like celebrities and to understand Gaga in this documentary with a mind like this you wont really get her. But I saw the majority of people really liking and supporting her after this documentary

Gagz is always talking about herself haha . I think us fans are used to it, but she's been called pretentious her whole career cuz of this.

Anxiety makes you overthink EVERYTHING and a very helpful way of dealing with it is spending huge amounts of time with yourself and think about how and why you got to where you are and what would make the pain go away. For Gaga, as for me, self inspection is a way of understanding emotions, thoughts and actions which is vital for surviving in an intense, fast paced and highly triggering world. Her artistry comes from within and that’s her way of healing, it’s not everybody’s cup of tea but it’s also why we all fell in love with her. She’s both the artist and the canvas. Sure, it can seem self involved, but it’s more than that. It’s self destruction in order to come out the other side stronger, different and inspired to help others

omg this is so related to me

Inspired on Madonna's Truth or Dare but lacking it's authenticity

"As a regular Gaga fan that still remembers her 2009/2011 hits I couldn't wait for this documentary to premiere, especially since it had been labelled as a new "Truth or Dare" but I was thoroughly disappointed.

Everything she says is "me me me". She shows that she severely lacks a sense of humour and hardly cracks a joke or barely laughs. She's seems to be surrounded by a bunch of yes men and women who pander to everything she says.

In Truth of Dare Madonna was humorous, fun, intelligent and actually had in-depth conversations with her dancers and the people who surrounded her, she cared about them and what they had to say. Gaga on the other hand, doesn't seem to care about anyone but herself.

The whole movie seems contrived and portrays Gaga as a joyless, attention seeking woman that lacks empathy or true rockstar authenticity."

I mean... I wouldn't call her a narcissist but there are some parts in the documentary that made me feel a little...weird?

Like the American Horror Story set meltdown, and the superbowl rehearsals... I know that a lot of celebrities are like that but still...

And the Walmart scene makes me feel a little awkward...

But besides that... It's a great documentary imo... the making of Joanne, BR performance and the scene saying goodbye to Mark really touched me:tongue:

The WalMart scene made me laugh. You could tell they were f***ing around, and definitely high. Gaga was probably like, “Let’s go to W-M” and see if they have it out.” Bobby is like, “Yeah, and let’s take the film crew!” Then Gaga, wearing her infinite marketing cap, uploads it to IG. Sheer genius.
