They are oppressed by patriarchy, islamophobia and western white feminism all impacting their life in western countries that have the hypocrisy to preach freedom of choice for women while making it exclusive to white women.

Patriarchy is a key part of their religion, so we can’t blame that on the western world. Feminism has always only fought white women, so that’s nothing new. Although, time and time again, efforts have been made to liberate Muslim women, but they want to stay in their oppressive customs and religion. And islamophobia, although debatable if it even exists, has arisen in the western world due to the oppressive and dangerous behaviors Islam has displayed not only in their home countries, but in the western world as well.

Agreed. Some Muslims try so hard to make it seem as if culture isn’t related to religion. While in the ME, religion is a part of everything including politics, education and even most TV shows.

People were slaughtered because of their religion. There was literal genocide in 90s due to islamophobia in heart of Europe and you say it doesn’t exist or it’s justified?? Disgusting.
