I know you're all saying she probably has the resources and money to save them....but having money doesn't mean she can do whatever she wants! 

Roads were blocked off and she was forced out abruptly. Maybe at the time she only had one van available to drive out her and her stuff/dogs. There was no way to fit chickens in there. If she had more than one car -- what if she didn't have tiny individualized cages for the chickens (who would)? If she tried to cram chickens in a car they will fly around and peck everyone causing danger to the driver...

What if roads were blocked and they didn't allow any more trucks to come back UP to pick up the chickens? And sure, Gaga has the money maybe to send over a private helicopter to pick up the chickens in a big cage, but what if helicopter traffic was blocked and not allowed at the time because there are already dozens of fire department ones used to put out the fire? I'm sure the city would not allow civilian helicopters to be flying around...It's not safe and visible conditions with the smoke. 

Plus Gaga would not jeopardize human lives by hiring drivers to come up in the fire again to pick up chickens...whether helicopter or car. LOOK AT THIS!!!!! 

Would you actually be happier if Gaga paid a driver $100,000 to drive up in THIS condition, risking his life and his family losing him??

Doesn't matter how much money she has. It would be WORSE if Gaga paid someone to drive up in that condition to get chickens....She would actually be EVIL!

Imagine the headlines...

"Gaga kills driver by hiring them to get her chickens"

"Gaga destroys families by sending them into the fire for poultry"

The only way to find out whether or not she did the right thing is to know all exact conditions and circumstances she was in. There are many variable factors which we still don't know of.

I would definitely be opposed to leaving any animals, especially animals that belong to you, in danger, but who am I to judge, I wasn't there, I didn't know how many cars she had, how serious the fire was in her location at that time when she was evacuating, and other obligations she had to attend to.

I'm curious whether or not she brought the horses though.

I’m sure she left some openings so that the chickens could escape if the fires got close.  After all, animals can sense danger and are able to run away from it.  Animals aren’t as dumb as some people make them out to be

There's absolutely no reason to be so pressed about this. Her neighbors probably left their koi ponds with all the fish still in there. people were begging for others still there to help save their animals. It's as if they literally were not able to pick up their house and put it on a trailer or call up their dozen helicopters to attach rope to the house and fly away to Neverland in the span of 5 seconds. 

Meanwhile people literally died in their cars trying to escape the fire. No seriously some of them were trying to put on makeup before leaving and died in their cars along with their family. There's a video on Reddit. (It is from a separate fire though in Northern California) Would you prefer that?
