Well if you make the decision to own so many animals and keep them then yes, yes , yes  it is a tragedy that she didn’t even make any plans ahead knowing that if she lives in such dangerous area (California, fires,earthquakes and droughts ) then you need to have an evacuation plan at all times specially for the animals you decided to take in.

I'm sure she did the best she could. Chickens wouldnt't be the easiest thing to secure and move. And they are nasty so I wouldn't open my house to them. They would have been gone already before they burned so no worries as far as the pain of burning alive. The amount of oxygen a fire of that size consumes would have been what did them in. When you think about it that's probably more humane than chopping their heads off or whatever chicken factories do with them. 

She didn't have a lot of time. She couldn't save everything. I refuse to judge her.

Delete this thread. There’s no complete information with regards to this and we cannot just judge by one picture. Also, if you are not vegan, please don’t be shocked.

I mean, she probably did have a plan to do that, but you need to know that these fires move quickly and unexpectedly. They ordered Gaga to leave immediately and even if she wanted to save other animals or anything else, she wouldn't have been abled to. I still don't know why some people including you are still arguing about this. She is safe and the chickens as well. Put yourself in your shoes. Is you had a mansion and there is a fire outside and you have a lot of animals, pretty sure chickens wouldn't be the first thing on your mind because she was probably traumatized or something.

(In all seriousness, I am an animal lover, but what could she actually do? Scoop them all up in her giant BTW egg vessel and duct tape them to Volantis before she left? She probably has groundskeepers and hired help for things like that. I'm sure the chickens were safe the whole time.)

She really didn't have a lot of time to make plans. The fire started in Woolsey Area on 8th November and spread quickly astonishingly quickly due to gusty winds. You can see on the map the distance it spread in pretty much 24 hours before it hit Malibu. I'm pretty sure nobody in Malibu was expecting to evacuate.

it says "escaped unscathed" but ppl are saying she's irresponsible...  she probably only evacuated herself bc it was mandatory for her to do it, the chickens are fine y'all need to chill.

Well they don't seem too bothered about the fire, they're probs got corn on their mind......even if the fire did get close to them they'd have popcorn I guess which is also an added bonus.

On a serious note I don't blame gaga. I'm sure she was rushed and wanted make sure personal valuables and her most closest animals were safe and accounted for. When you are scared for your life and the safety of everything you know things can get frantic and to move that many chickens in such a small amount of time is unrealistic.

You're ordered to evacuate immediately, you don't have time to chase chickens around. And you'd have to have little cages to put them in. Its just not practical with the amount of time she had.
