Its a cool sound. I hope you just mean that there is some element of sonic experimentation on it. But I don't think this fanbase is interested in another Fame Monster, nor would that actually be memorable. It would be much more shocking and remembered if Gaga actually does what she SEEMS to already be doing: working with producers like SOPHIE, BoysNoize, Detroit City, Bloodpop, and Skrillex who are actually gonna create something wild and new for Gaga sonically, while she actually writes great pop melodies and comes up with a theme for the record that is challenging but relevant to today's audience. That's what she is best at in pop, and that is what people are waiting for. The element of her ability to make a great future pop record, not remake the stylings of her past. I do hope it is a bit more radio palpable and luckily I think radio is heading back in this direction again: dance pop (in a new way) is beginning to show signs of entering back in again and the hip hop wave of the late 10's is finally declining.

The question is will Gaga be able to seriously become a part of that new sound or will she sound like she's trying to be part of it? It CaNNOT sound like she has just "decided" she wants to go back to pop. In some ways she has stepped so far away from this my only worry is that people will see this as an artistic step backward. Her label is definitely gonna have to play this right the way Britney's did with her late Circus/Femme Fatale resurgance: and I think that route for Gaga is having the sound itself be very fresh and forward and instantly catchy, but have the record have some sort of deep and powerful meaning to it regarding either feminism or classism or addiction or outright raw self-reflection of her career. This is honestly why, "thank u, next" is doing so well. It's a viable pop song, it's fresh but still true to Ariana's sound, but it can also be taken seriously because people love it when artists kind of reveal things about their inner workings and life now through their music or performances. Honestly I expect LG6 to have kind of a Jess Glynne style lyricism with a really underground club vibe production vibe to it.  Expect post-ARTPOP lyrics with notes of pre-ARTPOP melodies. But with a whole new "sound" that might even be considered "experimental". This could easily be either her Bionic or her Femme Fatale. Staging could not be more important this era.
