So do you think her music videos are basic? NTLTC is probably the best video of 2018 alongside GIAW. 

Her performances are somewhat unique if you compare them to other artists performing in 2018.

I do find her to be very basic. She can’t really dance, she wears the same things, she doesn’t really change up her sound... idk. She has a huge fan base so she must be doing something right 

I think we just hold these “newer” pop stars to a standard that they could never fit

I actually find her voice basic, I'm not a fan of the 90's r&b sound she's trying to imitate, her voice is just too high pitched and squeeky, like Britney. Also her image and her whole shabang is boring to me, like someone else said, she brings nothing to the table, she's no different to Demi or Selena, her songs could easily have been sung by them and no one notice. That's why I love Gaga, she isn't pedestrian and playing it safe like Ari, with the whole pop princess Disney crap.

This woman has been through more **** in the past 24 months than the large majority of us can even begin to fathom. 

The two things, that she has credited for keeping her on this earth, is therapy and the studio. All of y’all who aren’t enjoying her output, cute. But stop trashing her name, accusing her of selling her relationships, exploiting Mac’s death for a hit. Bashing her for Pete, bashing her for having a hit just beside you don’t like it. It’s dumb, and it’s not cute.  

It cannot be a coincidence that this site completely switched on this woman as soon as she began to outperform Shallow. It just can’t be. Y’all cannot stand another female outperforming Gaga during an era where she is doing her thing in her own lane. It’s sad to witness. Let her have this success, let her ****ing live

Well... to you tbh. The critics, stans and the GP LOVE those songs and yes, she's about to get that #1 with TYN, it already has 40 MILLION streams on Spotify and it's topping the charts everywhere.

Btw, who's the only mainstream act putting out POP music? Yes, Ariana, so she deserves a bit more respect for keeping that genre alive a in hip-hop charts dominated world.
