Oh I agree completely. The music really shows how good this process was for Gaga as a songwriter because its among her best, for sure. Even the weaker tracks are still solid, just not as memorable, but the album also has 34 songs  

Though I also think the music is better because Gaga didn't have to develop the concept herself and was writing *for* something which she's done countless times. There's a reason it was her job. She just had to stick to the general, already in place beats of the film and work from there.

*Also* I think it was good because Gaga got to really stretch her wings in this role. She got to develop a character whom she played *and* wrote music for it. It's everything she'd love to do and so I think how good this was for her creatively shows.

I’m surprised at the Heal Me hate. It’s such a euphoric song. The melody is ****ing killer and I wish she couldve further develop the whole R&B inspired pop songs into its own project... her voice is perfect for it. In an alternate reality we know Gaga is so the type of person who’d put out an EP of Ally songs lmao
