Believe me we live in the stan bubble, there are STILL people in the GP who think she’s in retirement. :toofunny: ASIB helped tremendously though.

This.  It's her comeback for the GP.  Personally, I don't think she even needs a comeback, she has been doing plenty.  Many stans won't be satisfied unless she releases another pop album.

I live outside the space time continuum.

I mean, it was #5 in US, and topped the charts in UK and AUS. I'm starting to hear it on the radio more and more. ASIB soundtrack has been #1 in the US for like 3 weeks now.

In many ways, she never went away. However with the charts, sales, GP love and overall buzz, attention, hype, positivity and love going on in her favor...I must say

YAAAAAAASSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

If you constantly put out work (not only songs, but performances, appearances, etc) and EVERYONE knows your name, can you trully be gone? No.

She might have more commercial success in the future, or not. Regardless of that, she won't be more popular than what she already achieved, unless there's an alien race that discovers earth and acknowledges Gaga. You can't be more popular than 100% of the people knowing about you.

Well you can be if 100% of the people buy the album. :trollga: lol

I personally believe you have to be away longer for it to be a comeback. Popularity wise I'd say yeah but musically, no.

Rihanna feels like she's been gone ages. If she released new music I'd class that as a comeback. But not Gaga.

She's been dead to the worldwide GP since 2012, and a much as this song is doing well on the charts, I wouldn't call it a huge hit. Like, industry-wise.

It actually kinda annoys me. The have the mind of like, flies or something lol. They’ve seen the SOM tribute, her National Anthem performance, her HTS performance, see her perform at every Grammy event and then they’re like “Where’s Gaga? She’s been gone for so long”. And they’re also like “wow I had no idea she’s sang this well” as if they didn’t “find out” with the SOM tribute, her SB performances, etc.

Both. It's highly regarded as Madge's magnum opus of her career and it still is. It was highly praised by both the critics and the public and it put Madonna back into credibility in the industry.

You could say ASIB is kinda like this but it's not exactly a pop album. Not even a Gaga album per say.
