Well, we know what critics wrote when Bohemian Rhapsody the song was released, it was included in this film so yeah, history is repeating :poot:

No. This would be forgotten really quick. But first they would make good money out of it.

Do you even understand that Bohemian rhapsody song reviews came from the fact that it was an experimental song? This is a conventional movie with great comercial appeal because of the music and the history of the band.

Thats is a dumb statement. Not everything has to be played out on screen. The viewer obviously knows more than eye contact was going on between Freddie and those men.

Well. Then you should start looking for those articles about the many differences from reality. Its embarassing that you think you are a HUGE fan and say something like that.

The gay aspect is respectfull? What that even means? Its just a sorry that I am gay story. Literally, if u change the ending and the miracle find of an ok boy friend at the end,  this would look like a movie made about some extremists religious groups about how beeing gay will destroy your life. :bye:

LMAO you coming here obviously never hearing a Queen song in your life before this movie spreading knowledge... Well that is embarrassing.. Only “major” difference is made with him telling the band mates about AIDS before the AID performance - other than that - differences are literally so minor that there is no need to acknowledge them. Literally.

And honey you seems like you didn’t even watch it by mentioning those articles you read before probably after googling “differences from real life in bohemian rhapsody”... Also I honestly don’t know what you are talking about mentioning extremist religion bull? It doesn’t make any sense. The gay aspect is still respectful - believe me they could have shown some “awful” stuff because gay scene in 70s-80s was wild and if you say otherwise- you are uneducated + read about Freddies partying in USA and Germany and then come here talking about how they overdid it. Never did they even imply that him being gay destroyed him, they just showed how trusting someone who is toxic (any person, not just gay) can lead you to some awful life decisions.

You need to lay off all those bitterness you feel. It’s def not going to steal any Gaga’s Oscars so you are safe. Don’t worry.

This is PG13 movie and if you or him think that it was not CLEARLY implied that he had sex with a lot of men in this movie then I honestly have no comment. That statement is really stupid.

Dont assume things. I saw the movie. I know Queen music. I have listen to almost all of Queen albums. I even saw documentaries. I was at a Queen concert with Adam Lambert. And I know a thing or two about Queen. I pointed out to those articles just to show how many differences are in the movie, when u said there arent. There are many others.

The things that you say they didnt show about gay life in the 70s 80s they actually showed. They didnt show anything explicit because it was a PG13 movie, so they couldnt. That isnt the problem. The problem is that the gay aspect of his life until at the end when he meets his boyfriend, it is shown as a negative thing. At every turn, it shows u how good is to be straight and how bad it is to be gay. Basically if u end the movie 10 minutes before the concert, this movie can be a comercial about how bad your life would be as a gay man. If u dont see it, its your choice, as it is clearly there, even if it is involuntary there, because they wanted to put under the carpet his gay life.

I went to this movie expecting an entertaining conventional movie. And I got a bad movie more innacurate than Queen wikipedia page with problematic undertones. Learn to respect other people opinions and stop assuming things, especially since this movie is higly criticized about they way it represents the gay life of Freddie.

It criticizes his party ways if anything. It shown nothing bad about gays in particular. It only shows the party scene in 80s that was wild and it was realistically not a good lifestyle. It’s not highly criticized because of that but because it’s too commercial for critics. But honestly people find everything offensive so I’m not surprised by your opinion. Also I stand by my words because you don’t sound like a Freddies fan.. With this reply I end this discussion.. you have your opinion, I have mine..

I am a Freddie fan. Im not a fan of this movie. And its a movie that I think has less than 50 on metacritic. I dont know how its that hard to believe that some people think this is a bad movie.

The movie was decent, I liked it but I didn't love it. I had high expectations and that was my mistake. The only good thing about the film is Rami, he made the movie enjoyable. I'm not a critic lol but I give the movie a 5.5 out of 10, it seems that the movie was based on Freddie's Wikipedia page. I went with my boyfriend and we got bored during some scenes and we're both Queen fans(like everybody), we were a little bit disappointed but we enjoyed Rami's performance.
