Exactly, next month there'll be a shorlist for the official submitted songs. ARUTW and INLA can still be topic.

On Topic: She'll perform whatever is nominated. If there's no nominated song she won't perform. No matter how much of an Oscar song INLA is.

The only expection was when Les Miserables was nominated for an original song but they made a whole medley of the classic songs of the musical tha were featured in the film. That won't be ASIB's case

And no, they just removed the songs from their "For your consideration" list, not from their submissions 

The Sound of Music tribute is not a nominated song, it's a tribute and of course it would be a full-length performance. Nominated songs are not the same. Have you not been watching the Oscars?

The 'For your consideration' list is the submission list, INLA and ARUTW are not submitted. Only Shallow is.

She was doing tribute to 50th anniversary of that movie that year, it was appropriate for her to be invited to sing those songs. Context. Believe what you want though. Look up the receipt, ever since the performance were televised, it's been like that. Nominated songs were the one performed.
