I know that many monsters don't like the song that much, BUT I have seen many people (non-monsters) on Twitter saying that issa bop, I've seen youtubers using the song in their videos, on snapchat, etc... It hasn't even been released on Gaga's youtube channel and there are already many people bopping to the song. 

And tbh it's one of my favorite songs of the ASIB soundtrack. and don't come at me with "too repetitive", "too shallow" because that never bothered you before. I really think WDYDT? has the best potential and it would definitely be very big cause it's pop, with an urban beat and it's actually a special genre cause it mixes "trap/pop" with more organic instruments like marimba and strings.

So let's wait for Gaga to release a MV on YT and then make this song go straight #1

 

After that she releases Is That Alright as the 4th single and the world is hers forever

the instrumental works but the lyrics are just obnoxious

But ARUTW is a safe bet, the song is charting everywhere and is having strong streaming numbers ( in some countries is getting the same radio support as the shallow).

I think the song is unresistable but it's not really what the young people listen, it's not really a party anthem about youth, about proscratination those things. It's not a lazy song thats kinda dope and easy to listen.

Then the production kinda would be accepable for late 2017, early 2018 but now starts to be too old for a smash hit.

also the chorus is a bit like something from Brandy's Full Moon, something circa 2001-2004 max.

BUT!!! With a really great clip with some twist that attracts young audience and causes conversation. And probably would need some feature to be a smash hit

But ofc those songs are def not the demography of the movie. This is a drama full of emotion, makes much more sense the supporters of the movie to love the ballads

We have no idea if a comercial release target for an younger audience wouldn't click. I think it's difficult but it's not impossible.

Why Did You Do That? is trendy, no doubt but the lesson that ASIB learnt us is that GP is more than teenagers who only want rap and beat-drops.  GP can also relate to ballads when they're timeless and carry emotional power.
