I think it's also because you don't see the point in remembering things yet. As you grow older you realize you have to remember things for yourself, to gain experience, but also for others, to share your experience. You don't have that consciousness when you're a baby.

If it was simply a matter of blocking out tramatic events people would have different ages in which they'd start remembering things and us have individual cases where some would remember earlier in life but no one does

 

There's also the tests that show how a 6month baby can only remember most stuff for a day.... It wouldn't be trauma causing that

Oh I know. I'm basically just speaking from thought and how that must have felt to be born. I find that fascinating. It is to me at least. 

I've heard it said many times "dont fear death because it wont be as hard as your birth was"....as a thinker, that just wows me.
