The albums were, the singles...not so much. And as they've pointed out above, most of Lemonade and Self-titled success comes from the US. I think Shallow is doing better commercially than any Beyoncé single released since Telephone (which also was a Lady Gaga single)

to be fair, for her last two eras she virtually had no rollout for singles. the Beyhive on ATRL had a MELTDOWN when Lemonade was smashing, and Beyoncé actually sent ALL of the songs to radio at the same time. She's didn't really try to have a "hit" until last year where she became a rent-a-rapper.

937 273 tickets sold in France for Bohemian Rhapsody in 5 days :nooo:

deserved tbh, I absolutely LOVED it. Kinda hoped ASIB would have had a more blockbuster-like performance

No Shade Both Lemonade And Self Titled Are Massive Local Album Or Western Album ... It Is Not A World Hit Album ... Even ARTPOP And Joanne Is More Worldwide Album Than Beyonce's Last Three Album

Joanne was the definition of local (even more than Lemonade and it still did worse than Lemonade in the states)

ST was a global event let us NOT

Anyways, ARTPOP (like BTW to a certain extent) came and Left, while ST is still pulling great streaming numbers ~ 5 years after release...

Beyonce said she doesn't give a **** about singles anymore. That's why Formation was only available on Tidal in the release week. She could have so easily got a no. 1 with Formation with a traditional release. I think Gaga will go in that direction after LG6. Album sales + tour tickets are all you need anyway

Gaga is doing amazing but the delusional stans who are trying to drag Beyonce after the success of Shallow are asking for it. Let's not get too cocky

ASIB just landed its first award of the season: Matthew Libatique won the Hollywood Cinematography Award at the HFAs

Can't work out how relevant they are - Timmy C, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, etc. attended and GoldDerby call it the 'unofficial launch of awards season', but it's also untelevised and the winners are announced prior

FYI: they don't have nominees, only winners and for some reason the song category wasn't in this year...poor Shallow
