HAC for sure. Top 40 will snub it.

I feel like it would do well on Top 40. It’s more polished ballad sounding, and not so rough around the edges. It’s also catchy and has strong lyrics. I could definitely see it doing better on Top 40 than Shallow is.

Lady Gaga is a legend and you will deal with it

Queen is 500 points away from Gaga on kworb. She might go down to #2 for the first time after a whole month at the top

The thing with radio now is that Gaga and her team know that Pop radios are not here for her anymore, or at least not like they were during TFM, not only because Pop radios prefer younger artists, but also because eventually Pop radios get tired of every artist. I think is great that Gaga is focusing more on HAC and AC, because those formats can give us better longevity and more sales, because it's a more mature demo.

This route is similar to P!nk's. After "Just Give Me a Reason", Pop radios decided to ignore her. However, HAC and AC were picking up "True Love" and the song peaked at #4 and #13, which was way better than its peak at Pop (#22) and the Hot 100 itself (#53). Right after, with "Just like Fire" was almost the same story. Pop radios (#7) were losing interesed in P!nk, but HAC (#2) and AC (#1) were loving her like never before, and thanks to these two formats and the sales boost they gave to the song, "Just like Fire" reached top 10 on the Hot 100.

P!nk and her team knew that she needed to change the course of her music and demo. "What About Us" was clearly her most mature song, compared to her other leads ("So What", "Stupid Girls", "Blow Me (One last Kiss)"). As expected, the song wasn't a huge success in Pop (#10) like her previous works, but HAC (#1) and AC (#1) on the other hand... The song ended up spending 22 weeks on the Hot 100 and peaked #13. As for "Beautiful Trauma", #26 at Pop, #4 at HAC and #15 at AC. Despite not having too many hits, the album ended up selling good enough and the era is well seen as successfull (I know it had tour bundle but still lol).

P!nk's reputation has also grown up this past era, her tours sell even better than before and she still gets some awards. For someone who's been in the industry for 18 years now, this is not bad at all. I mean, Britney and Xtina can't relate, they still think they can have a smash hit in Pop.

Taylor is another example... Pop radios weren't here for her during Reputation, and she realized that right after "End Game" flopped. The better option? Release a song that could smash in HAC and AC. The better choice? "Delicate". As expected, the song reached #1 on HAC and AC, and eventually Pop since the song was a huge hit. Ended up peaking #12 on the Hot 100 and being the most successfull single of Reputation radio-wise and also had the longest chart run.

BR down to 59 RT.  I think it will have a strong 1 week or 2 week and then fade.  It’s unfair to compare though, it’s a PG13, $52m budget, 4000 theatre wide release
