On track to become her biggest hit there? lmao It's pretty much on track to do so, if it weren't for christmas songs it would be going for a 8th week at #1 here this week (it has spent 5 weeks officially #1). Bad romance spent 6 weeks #1 and poker face 4. The longetivity will be insane for this song since it's only about now it's big on radio and the movie is still being in cinemas. Then digital release/dvd release + award season then later going to streaming in 2019 will all help it stay high on the charts. Betting it will be the gaga song that spends the most week ever on the charts.

Vitleysingur 13,735
IndieWire Oscars 2019: All 15 Best Original Song Contenders, Ranked from Worst to Best 1. “Shallow” Movie: “A Star Is Born” The closest thing to a lock at this year’s Oscars, “Shallow” deserves to be the prohibitive favorite for Best Original Song; indeed, the greatest challenge of Lady Gaga’s nascent acting career will be feigning surprise when this soaring power-ballad brings her one step closer to an EGOT. “Shallow,” a folksy pep talk that erupts into an arena-sized anthem about getting over yourself and diving headfirst into love, was used to such brilliant effect in the trailer for “A Star Is Born” that it became a bonafide phenomenon before the actual movie even hit theaters. Not only is the song a sublime vehicle for Gaga’s voice (and the personality she’s always poured into it), it somehow plays even better in its proper, as Bradley Cooper uses it as both script and soundtrack for one of the most exciting scenes of the year. Galvanizing a performance worthy of the the Best Actress nomination that’s coming its way, Gaga crashes through the surface with such force that you can feel her character shattering every limitation she’s ever set for herself. Dreams of you and me are in the dirt.
