Opened at midnight last night with 3.9 Million. Higher than ASIB midnight showings I think. Anyone have that figure?

If I remember correctly, ASIB actually had over 4 million.

One article is quoting 3.2Million. I think the 4 million figure includes all the sneak peak previews the week prior to opening.

I’m talking about Thursday Night showings specifically. Not the previews from the days prior to that.

Marry Poppins is the problem and we dont know how that sounds.

Its debuting on December so ASIB had more time to shine. We shall see how it does though...

Yeah the 4.6 million includes Tuesday/Wednesday showings as well. I wonder if BR’s figure also includes pre-Thursday showings?

ASIB still did very well and is very leggy. I wonder if BR will be able to do the same?

I expect BR opening weekend to be higher but legs not as long as ASIB.

From Mojo

Fox's Bohemian Rhapsody delivered an excellent $3.9 million from Thursday night previews last night, which began at 7PM in ~3,260 locations. The performance is just a bit shy of the $4.55 million A Star is Born brought in from previews last month, though it should be noted A Star is Born's total included $1.35 million from Tuesday and Wednesday special event screenings.

We will have a better estimate tomorrow

My local Top 40 and HAC radio stations are both playing Shallow regularly now

I have a feeling ARUTW could be a huge hit, even on radio.

ARUTW has that polished power piano ballad feel that does well on radio. Shallow is more rough sounding. ARUTW is already showing amazing signs to be a single.
