Soundtrack will surely hit more than platinum in those countries.

Still #1 on ikoons in New Zealand and Australia after all the new releases.

Shallow is still number 1 on NZ Spotify too, and each update its lead builds...It's now reached a new peak of 46, 425 daily plays in comparison to no. 2, Sunflower by Post Malone which has 41, 513 daily plays... Most songs which go no.1 on Spotify NZ do so with 40-43k daily plays so 46k+ is amazing

Shallow is still absolutely killing it on iKoons with a 60% lead (omg last time I checked it was 43%) and is number 1 on AM. The ST has been number 1 on iKoons and AM all week too. I'm predicting that both Shallow and the ST will be number 1 this week. They'll also be Gaga's first platinum single and album since the BTW era (none of her singles or albums post-BTW have been certified in NZ :rip: ).

I can't believe Gaga is slaying so hard in New Zealand; the last time she was this popular was the BTW era

She's always had decent to healthy first week sales here post-BTW because she still has a dedicated core fan base on Little Monsters here... ARTPOP's singles (Applause and DWUW) did fairly well in NZ, but the album kinda bombed. I don't think anyone could release an album like ARTPOP and it be a massive success here; the overall message of that album just does not culturally resonate with the general NZ mentality. Although the Joanne singles kind of bombed in NZ (though everyone knows MR and TC), the album itself actually performed better on our album chart and had more longeivity than ARTPOP. I'm pretty sure Cheek to Cheek did better in NZ than either ARTPOP and Joanne :rip:

Though the 1-2-3 punch of C2C-Joanne-Superbowl really 'cleaned' up Gaga's image and set her up really well to comeback hard here with the ASIB era.

what do you mean

France - $8.7M updates from some days ago

$8.7m with 1.1m tickets? So a ticket costs less than $8.7 or €7.62? :rip:

Who cares radio. That format will die like netflix killed cable. Streaming is the future

I don't think radio will die sis, it's one of the oldest media formats and has arguably adapted better to the internet/streaming era than other media / entertainment industries like news media, music, and books etc.

I still can't believe all the success A Star Is Born is having at the moment, ik Shallow might not re-peak in US but still a top 5 hit on Hot 100 is something none of us expected not to say the #1's in UK and in many countries from Europe. 1 month ago we were worrying if the soundtrack will debut at #1 and instead not only this happened but the soundtrack ended being #1 for 3 WEEKS (and it can still be #1 in the following weeks). And last but not least, the soundtrack is like really REALLY helping Gaga with the streaming aka the stuff that Gaga was lacking the most. This slayage came so sudden but right when it was needed

So how will pop music ever evolve if the radio won’t play anything different :fthis:

Exactly what I was thinking, it encourages artists to make crappy music to get radio play too

This 8.7m was Before full 4th week numbers were out

also it’s possible because prices aren’t the same everywhere and some people have the possibillities to have lower prices with special things

Thissss so much! I get mad when people complain about Shallow leaving top 10 or ASIB not being #1 for a 4th week. It surpassed ALL our expectations!
