Karl 3,420
Not about this little mix slander. They have pure talent listen to their vocal acoustic harmonies, 5 albums in and still massively relevant in most markets, exception being the US, who clearly prefer a tacky arrogant rapper

Example: 1D, people in USA at least know the face or the name one of the member (usually harry or Zayn), and/or they know one of their song even if they may not know the title, or as the locals put it, that "makes you beautiful" song. Or Spice Girls. Little Mix is none of those here. So I beg to differ Besides, what accolades do they have in the USA? They don't even have Top 10 hits here, let alone #1, The fact some Murican users here wondered if they are that big is enough saying tbh, even Dua Lipa is more known than them here, and she is only got 1 album, hence saying "huge success" is over estimating. Just because they haven't taken off in America doesn't mean they aren't good, jeez It doesn't? Let's be honest here for a second, when Amy Winehouse, Adele, Sam Smith, and that ginger guy, to name some, won those Grammies, it was a national headline in UK, wasn't it? Wasn't it a spectacle more than any other awards? Wasn't people can't stop talking about it that they managed to won those, especially in some usual pop forums debates, especially as defense? "well, you can say whatever, your faves may be good, but Adele won, not one but 6 Grammys in one night, what does your fave have?!", sounds familiar? As the biggest music market, USA have been and always will be the country that many musician from all over the world wish to be conquer. I mean, have you even seen someone who releases an album promoted as "BRIT AWARD WINNING ARTIST" except for local releases? Also, a disclaimer, I didn't exactly mention anywhere about them not being good. It is about accolades (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
LilMonst3r 5,537
This is a messy way for Little Mix to try and get some attention for their group. Like they could have been saying that they wanted to collab with Nicki but it would make sense they asked Cardi first to rap a verse because Cardi was having huge success and they would have wanted to hop on the Cardi hype train. Let's see what Cardi might say to them.

Yes, America is big in the music industry. But to suggest that to be a success you need to be big in America is just silly. They're a British group, why shouldn't they or their fans be proud of their UK chart success? Like I get it, people here think you have to be top on Billboard to be considered a success (notice how I'm not saying good so you can't 'disclaimer' me haha), but America isn't the be all and end all of the music industry. FentyGa 14,340
My guess is that they sent it to Nicki, and the label decided to send it to Cardi as backup just in case Nikci said no.
melon 3,590
labels always send around songs, it will just save them time of they get passed over by artists! lots of negative people on here, LM are very talented and are great role models, so maybe give their music a listen and don’t judge so hard? all they said is that they personally wanted Nicki more and that their label still sent Cardi the track as backup... also I can’t with some of you still obsessing over Cardi... she’s not some innocent victim and I feel like a broken record saying how people on this site shouldn’t stan her or support her and her husband’s behaviour just because she’s sassy and throws shade... show me to me please

I don't think it was unnecessary tbh. Cardi humiliated Nicki and they were the only ones who could really prove the slander wrong rather then just let it be.
