Actually, yes, BloodPop has a very organic sound and uses a variety of instruments. I could've expected that from him. Boys Noize on the other hand works exclusively on a modular system. Jaume 1,282
I think for whatever reason she changed her mind and scrapped LG5 and gave us Joanne. Joanne and ASIB are the most organic/pop rock she has ever done but I think she wants to go back to ARTPOP and from this album and that sound, start to explore again... Joanne is not her natural evolution if that makes sense. For me is an incredible album I don't think it's the sound that will define the search of the new one. I don't know, I think it's very exciting when you stan someone that is so so talented. Whether she will go pop rock, urban or jazz we know it will be great. pachinko 10,395
Whatever she releases, please don't let it sound like The Cure. It's her worst song ever.

Judas Society 3,584
She has always done pop music. Just not the kind you expect.

BloodPop was only here on Joanne for making it 'more pop' (just quoting what they said). Mark was in charge. If BloodPop is in charge this time don't even expect the same kind of sounds Mark's sound is relatively more funk. So he's not the country folk producer. So it's just a reminder that producers don't necessarily give you an idea of how the work will end up like. It's still Lady Gaga you're talking about. I love the production. Literally everything is catchy and fun! And the song was meant to be a fun pop song. And funny songs often does have cheesy lyrics but they songs aren't always bad. Even if it was more or less an accident that WDYDT turned out as a bad song, I'm a bit surprised that they couldn't see this coming while writing... I mean they wrote amazing lyrics like "wanna see your face when I fall with grace..." "..aren't you tired tryin to fill that void" "you found a light in me that I couldn't find" etc. and they wanna tell us that "why do you look so good in those jeans..." plays in the same League? Come on...

Mus 7,883
Of course she will, she’s (mainly) a pop artist What’s in a reverse-warholian expedition?
Supersonic 49,376
She's literally still doing pop music, y'all are out of your minds. Pop music does not equal gay bathhouse gangbang music.
GhettoFabulous 18,501
Are BoysNoise and Bloodpop non pop producers? (yes I know they’re not really pop producers but even a straight could even see that she’s working on a pop album ) or even Sophie like?? It won’t sound like TFM or BTW obviously because well...she’s not there artistically. Also just cuz she’s delved in the world of *POP* ballads and country *POP* doesn’t mean she won’t make pop she is a popstar after all
