CTC is not a solo project, she had little creative control over that. Tony asked HER to have an album together so she said yes.

She had complete creative control over that. We know for a fact that she changed the initial idea of the production for the album, brought in her own musicians, etc. I also doubt Tony would've done a show like The View if Gaga's team hadn't pushed it. No, C2C really does count as one of her era's, solo or not.

And no, LIAT had little to no impact on the GP. I wasn’t a Gaga fan at the time, and had no clue she sang jazz. In fact, most of the GP had no idea until CTC was released.

But how did C2C impact the GP lol. It did not. It had as much impact as LIAT which reiterates my point.

Are you saying it wasn’t experimental because it didn’t impact?

No, I'm saying it wasn't experimental. Musically.

You’re more so angry she isn’t as popular as she was almost a decade ago, which really has nothing to do with the sound of her music or the layout of her career.

I'm not angry she's not popular lol, I never wanted her to be popular if that means she'd dumb down her work. I think obscure fan non-favorites like Retro, Dance, Freak and Bad Kids are her best songs :vegas:

Lady Gaga isn’t supposed to have a distinctive character other than her voice. Hence why she changes into a different artist every era.

Change isn't effective if you don't deliver something interesting. Anyway, we're getting off-topic I guess. My point is just that I want her to seriously experiment with her sound and image this time. I thought Joanne was half-baked.

Lmao not even her fans think it's her best album let alone one of the best of our times :ladyhaha:

For the record, Ariana's debut album has the same critics score as Sweetener, I guess that one is also one of the best of our generation, whew Ari the pop legend we don't deserve, right? :huntyga: Same with Everything Is Love, it has the same score, I guess that's a classic too, The Carters did that!

Name me another pop album released recently by a pop chick that has caught people's attention though :interestinga: For the second time, I'm not arguing about its quality, only about its public status as a pop album worth listening to, and worth buying.

I honestly don't know neither care about how LG6 is going to be "made" after/for, for the exact reason that she has done so much already that whatever comes out I'mma still be shook and bopping

bloody g

Yes, bringing more ballads and vocal stompings would be too obvious.

We've seen Gaga and heard her sing. I want to know what her melodies and harmonies can sound like, I want to bath in her music pieces and instrumentals now.

I just want a consistent album, well thought out from start to end, not rushed, without too many compromises, that really speaks for itself.

She basically just needs to let it happen. I actually have felt for a while that ASIB would be great but LG6 would be amazing. I'm surprised with Asib, it showed some things i didnt saw coming. Which tbh has always happened. I can't wait for what's in store next

“Gaga should return to Gaga” honestly makes no sense to me, that would mean she somehow stopped being Gaga. She’s always about being different and changing people’s perception of her, and which album ceased that from happening? The only was she can “return to Gaga” is by doing something different. A similar era to previous ones wouldn’t really be “Gaga” in my opinion. So if you mean her next solo era not be light/dark synth-Pop (TF, TFM), electro-rock/80s Pop (BTW), EDM (ARTPOP), or Country/Soft-Rock (Joanne) then yeah, I’m all for it.

What I mean by Gaga is that she needs to return to her crazier and innovative side. I agree that Gaga will continue to be Gaga as long as she keeps changing, but she needs that edge and boundary pushing side that she used to have.

I wish she would make an album that  fully sounds like Look What I Found, with jazzy instrumentals but pop melodies, with some songs sounding like Amy and Mark’s Back to Black album
