Idk. I tried. But it's kinda underwhelming altogether. I'm just tempted to go back to listing to Body Talk rn :/

Theres nothing wrong with that!  To me, Honey is the comedown after Body Talk. Itll be there for when ya wanna try it again. I'm still listening to Body Talk too.

It's not bad, but it's kind of 'elevator music' album. Human being, honey and ever again are the only ones that got my attention, I actually really like those. A bit disappointed after Body Talk, but let's face it - it was hard to top that album. Still hoping for Honey (girls demo version) being released with remixes or something. Btw - Where's the video she was shooting at the time of album date realese?

Yup headphones is the way to hear this remarkable album.

I've upped my score to a 5/5

If Body Talk was the party, Honey is the 3am comedown. It works!

I NEED to see her do Human Being live. That may be these song here, along with the title track.

Human Being is that jam!

For eight bloody years I've had this knot in my stomach just because Robyn hasn't released any music under her own name.

Now which artist, in her thirties, decides not to release new music for eight fckng years? That's like harakiri for your career!

Bur Robyn has that rare, and overused, quality called integrity. She just doesn't care about sales. In her twenties she bought herself out of a multirecord deal because the exetutives didn't want to release the music she loved.

I am in awe of her artistry, and except for Gaga she is the most important artist in my life.

Since yesterday my newsfeed has been all about Robyn! Blame the logarithm, but it seems like the Honey album is big, read B I G, business.

It sounds a lot more gentle and, dare I say sexier than her Body Talk albums. Maybe it's the thrice weekly psychoanalysis for six years, or maybe it's simply a question of growing up, but this album feels so bloody mature and, excuse the ugly term, grown up.

My knot has dissolved!

It grew on me. Baby Forgive Me and STRI kinda drag, but they are still really decent songs. She can just do no wrong. Hopefully we won't have to wait another 8 years for another album :triggered:

I’ve only listened to it once but my first impression is that I’m underwhelmed. Only ones that stand out besides the singles are Human Being and Ever Again. If you’re gonna come out with a 9 track album after 8 years all those songs better be ****ing bomb.

I hear you, but it's such a grower! It nests into your brain and takes more root with every listen. It's a slowly detonating bomb.

Now go get your Honey!

I feel like I finally came around a bit. I love Honey (my favorite now), Human Being, Because it's in the Music, Baby Forgive Me and Ever Again. It's not exactly bops (which was the expectation that I had) but there's something so emotionally raw about the album which really fascinates me. The Beach song is probably the only one I don't get, it's very strange and outlandish.
