there is no but. These shortcuts and incorrect statements are misinformation and blatantly false. InĀ that sense, they just serve to solidify one's narrative, and the truth is the victim.Ā

Listen I have seen more blatant racism and hatred in my every day lifeĀ since he took office. It is a tumultuous presidency to say the least and it is causing unrest among Americans. Where there is political and civil unrest, violence and extremism brews. This is not misinformation. This is a fact and has historically happened all around the world. Unfortunately these events are Not surprising.Ā

But no one in this thread said "because of him"?Ā

People are only making the connection between violence and 'Trump's America', which isn't "misinformation"Ā at all. It is an undeniable fact that Trump's America has worsened the division between the left and right, and has encouraged extremist activities.

Is it for sure anti-democrats who sent it or democrats who want people/centrists/democrats to have a reason to hate the right more?

Okay we understand you are here for him. No need to defend Trump. We said ā€œTRUMP’S AMERICAā€, not Trump himself.Ā

Look... I’m no fan of the Clintons, but no one deserves a bomb sent to one’s house. This is somewhat reminiscent of that crazed Democrat who shot at the Republican Congressmen playing baseball not to long ago.Ā

Ā

You can hate someone’s politics, but that is no reason to inflict bodily harm on someone. It’s just disgusting that we are in this predicament.Ā

It's the best explanation right now. But as soon as we get confirmation that it indeed from the alt-right corner that this attempted, high-profile terrorism comes, then Trump,Ā Republicans, Fox News, Reddit, etc.Ā should be held responsible for creating the toxic conditions under which people can radicalize to this extent.

A man groped a woman on an airplane and literally said "Trump says it's okay."

What are you talking about?

It makes it sound like its trump's fault by saying trump's America (the link is easy to make),Ā when in fact no one has no clue who is behind this and why they did it. literally no clue.

Ā

Bomb threats existed before Trump. And btw Trump's America is a funny expression, as if America changed all of a sudden because of one person. "Trump's America" is "America", with or without him. he is a symptom, not a cause.

I don't think the people who downplay things like this understand the veracity of the situation.Ā

The FBI reports forĀ theĀ second year in a row, police departments across the country reported a rise in the number of crimes motivated by bias.

It’sĀ noteworthy thatĀ the groups against whom crimes rose by double digits were the focus of inflammatory rhetoric by Donald Trump over the course of his presidential campaign and during the two years of his presidency.Ā
